At the outset, it is appropriate to say that the design of the iPhones that Apple introduced with the iPhone X is certainly great and characteristic for this series, which abandoned the use of the home button and added Face ID. But he is the same for a long time. Only series 12 brought a slight refresh, but an inexperienced eye can easily confuse it with any older generation. But as new renders of the possible form of the Pixel 6 phone show, even today the design can be novel. original and really nice.

What to expect from the iPhone 13? Cosmetic reduction of the cut-out for Face ID and front camera, enlargement of the camera module and the related increase in thickness. At first glance, everything else should remain the same. This appearance of its iPhones, which Apple established just with the annual "ten", will thus go into its fifth year. However, Jon Prosser, a well-known leaker who has a fairly high percentage of success in his predictions (around 78%), showed the possible form of the news from Google. And she damn well succeeded. The renders of the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro (yes, no XL) feature a modern fresh design that plays with several colors and one bold design element.

Nice lullaby

One thing that bothers me about the design of the iPhone is the protruding camera. I was willing to tolerate it on the 6 Plus, where it was really just a decent blemish. With the 7 Plus model, it was already on the edge, meaning that it could still be tried without any major deterioration of the user experience. However, it is already far beyond the line for the XS Max model, not to mention the newer generations. In case you were wondering, no, I don't carry my phone in a case because it wouldn't solve my problem of the phone wobbling on any flat surface. By wrapping the Max models in the covers, you make them a really unsightly, and above all heavy, brick, and I try to resist this tooth and nail.

Google took a different approach to the camera requirements of its site. He made his Pixel asymmetric. It was thicker at the top than at the bottom. It didn't wobble when working on a desk and at the same time better directed the display towards your eyes. The downside was that it was heavier at the top and could fall over the index finger. The new renders show that the camera will be prominent even in the new Pixels, but much more practically than it is with other manufacturers, including Apple. An interesting "cradle" could be present.

Challenging cameras

Of course, it has the advantage that, with such a solution, your phone will not wobble in any way while working on a flat surface and will not tap on the table distractingly. The disadvantage is that too much material is used here, perhaps unnecessarily. Not only the manufacturers of covers will have a problem with this, but personally I would also be afraid of that falling over the index finger, which even the iPhone XS Max suffers from in smaller hands. On the other hand, you may be able to deny it for the output and, paradoxically, it will help the grip. The output should contain two to three cameras, depending on the model, and an illuminating LED. The AMOLED display will now have a mandatory punch hole and a fingerprint reader located under the display. However, the new Pixels should not be introduced until this October, i.e. at a similar date as the iPhone 13.
