Prague, September 24, 2009 – Czech Data Systems s.r.o., an authorized distributor of Apple products for the Czech Republic, has become a member of the Apcom regional group.
Apcom Group is an international umbrella group of authorized distributors of Apple products in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria. Apcom Group is headquartered in Budapest and its director is Georges Abboud.
The unification of distribution companies in these countries under one brand is a marketing move. The legal form of business, business name and property structure of the individual members of Apcom Group remain unchanged and no strategic and personnel changes are planned.
Czech Data Systems s.r.o. will continue to distribute all Apple products under the Apcom brand (with the exception of the iPhone, which is distributed by mobile operators), software localization, technical documentation and marketing support for the brand.
