Yesterday, Apple released the fourth beta version of the upcoming iOS 8.2 update, which, among other things, should bring the desired bug fixes that have plagued Apple's mobile operating system for a long time. The latest iteration of the beta doesn't bring any major news in the way of features or other improvements, instead giving us a look at the Apple Watch, or rather how it will pair with a phone.

In iOS 8.2 beta 4, a separate section was added to the Bluetooth menu Other Devices (other devices) with the following text: "To pair Apple Watch with your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app." With this, Apple confirmed that the watch will be managed from the iPhone through a separate app, which will likely need to be downloaded from the App Store.

This information is not completely new, we heard about the application for the first time find out soon after the introduction of the watch:

Apple Watch users will install the Apple Watch app on their iPhones, which will be used to download apps to the watch and probably also be used to set up the Apple Watch. The user's iPhone will also assist with computing requirements. Apple is apparently redirecting the processor's need to the phone to improve battery life.

So far, it seems that the sharp version of iOS 8.2 may not be available until the release of the Apple Watch, which should take place in March, but the official date is not yet known.
