If you program in the CSS language, then this helper designed for the iPad is just for you! Application CSS Reference was developed by the company Damon Skelhorn, which has behind it a number of similar applications for beginning developers in HTML, jQuery or PHP.

For those who are beginners or want to start programming websites, I would like to write a little about the CSS language itself. CSS, or cascading styles, are created by the w3schools standards organization to distinguish the structure of content from its appearance. Simply put, CSS is used to design a page written in the HTML language. It follows that CSS is the cornerstone for creating a perfectly designed website.

Why is the app so good?

The app is not good, but it is downright great! To convince you, I will try to give an example. Let's say you're a student at some technical school majoring in programming. The teacher reveals the secrets of HTML programming. And believe me, HTML will be followed by CSS, with which you will have to learn to distinguish between HTML as the structure of the text and CSS as its appearance. You might be thinking, "It's just a few rules and a few properties." A lot of times it is, but I think you get into a situation where you have little time and a lot to do. For example, on a test that might be simple, but you have to create a website and you only have two class hours to do it. You start to get confused, forget tags, and instead of long recollection or searching in a book, there is CSS Reference, which you can start and in a few seconds you have all the properties together, nicely arranged and clear. You may not be allowed to use your own tools during the tests - it's still worth buying. He learns and practices very well from this app. I think it can save you from being wrecked and will always give you the information you need and with it a sense of certainty that you will succeed.

The implementation of the application is very simple, but on the other hand, as they say, sometimes less is simply more. This is doubly true for the CSS reference. The application is designed in two basic columns, which are perfectly clear. The first column is a searchable alphabetical list of cascading style properties. Search is used to quickly find the property you are looking for. The list is logically organized into individual subheadings that contain properties related to the subheading. For example, a subtitle Boxes or Box model contains properties margin, padding a border. Each property is interactive, when you click on it, the second column on the right shows a description and all the information about the property. The description clarifies what the property is used for, when it is used, and with which elements. For example, the already mentioned feature border, which is used with an element, for example color, very clearly explains what, when and how. Each example is illustrated with a picture, which is for each property and element. It will also show you the correct property notation. This is very necessary, because if you know the property, but you are not able to write the property correctly, all the information is of no use to you.

Finally

My rating for CSS Reference is very good - I myself have been helped by this app. It is very simple, clear, and therefore I dare to say that I have not seen a better application for cascading styles. This programmer's aid is simply written so that even with a basic English language and explanatory pictures for each feature, you can read and understand it correctly.
