COVID-19: 4 coronavirus apps that should not be missing from your iPhone

Covid-19 is a highly infectious disease that is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The first case was identified in Wuhan, China in December 2019. Since then, the virus has spread worldwide, causing an ongoing pandemic. These 4 applications, which you must have on your iPhone, will serve you as much as possible due to the need to present certificates, scan them, inform you if you are in contact with an infected person, and provide complete data about the infection.

We have been expecting the arrival of this application, which should simplify our functioning in the coming days, weeks and months, for a long time - it is the Czech version of the so-called COVID passport. As soon as you log in to the Tečka application, all your certificates will be displayed immediately and in one place, with which you can prove yourself where necessary, and of course throughout the European Union. The Ministry of Health is behind Tečka, and the good news is that the application itself works smoothly and simply. Any new data you connect to will be automatically downloaded to the Dots app, so there's nothing else to worry about. You can then prove yourself anywhere using the classic QR code for an individual entry in the application.

The application is used to read QR codes associated with certificates to prove health status due to COVID-19 (vaccination, previous illness, test results) in accordance with the EU regulation and emergency measures of the Ministry of Health. So it shows a summary and details of information from the certificate when working offline. It offers downloading and saving of current signature keys for EU countries and validation rules from the server of the Ministry of Health. It verifies electronic signatures, checks validity according to the validation rules of the Czech Republic, etc. It is important that the application does not store or send anywhere the personal or health data of the controlled persons.

This is the official application for reporting exposure in the Czech Republic, which is developed by the Ministry of Health in cooperation with NAKIT (National Agency for Information and Communication Technologies). In the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic, it aims to alert users who are at risk of transmitting the virus. Based on the history of exposure to other potentially contagious users, the application provides instructions on how to proceed to minimize the spread of the epidemic. However, the application is not a medical device and certainly does not replace a doctor. It is based on Bluetooth Low Energy technology, which is designed to be particularly energy efficient. It also does not collect any geolocation data, including GPS data.

With it, you will have all the basic information you need to know. It contains constantly updated data about the infection in numbers, both within the whole world and within the selected country, i.e. the Czech Republic. There is also a map of the incidence of the COVID-19 infection, as well as a prediction of the growth of the disease throughout the world. There is also information about the laws and measures for the given country. Of course, there are lots of clear charts, etc.
