There is less than a week left until the new iPhone is introduced, and the world is still wondering what the new Apple phone will actually look like. Through a partner online store Applemix.cz we managed to get exclusive photos of the packaging for the new iPhone.
A similar case, as you can see in the photos below, appeared on the Internet a few months ago and started speculation about a larger display and a shape similar to the iPod touch. However, no one has been able to confirm or deny that this is a real cover. We now have this information confirmed.
As we know, packaging manufacturers receive the specifications and above all the dimensions of the device ahead of time in order to be able to produce enough packaging in time and offer them as soon as the new model arrives on the market. However, they are strictly prohibited from publishing this information, but as we know, not everything can always be kept secret and information leaks are not that uncommon.
Among other things, the online store Applemix sells the packaging of these Chinese manufacturers and thanks to the established relationships it is able to obtain this information. Thanks to this, the case for the upcoming iPhone generation also got into the hands of Applemix ahead of time. The same manufacturer also sent the cover for the iPad 2 to Applemix before its launch, and as it turned out, the cover for the tablet fit perfectly. This de facto confirms the authenticity of this iPhone cover.
According to the photos, it can be seen that Apple succumbed to the new phenomenon of large diagonals and significantly enlarged the body of the iPhone. The dimensions of the cover in the pictures are 72 x 126 x 6 mm, from which we estimate that the internal dimensions, i.e. the actual dimensions of the iPhone 5, will be approx. 69 x 123 x 4 mm. The dimensions of the iPhone 4 are then 115 x 58,6 x 9,3 mm. If we consider the dimensions Samsung Galaxy S II, which are mostly identical, the screen size could increase to a respectable 4,3 inches.
Another notable dimension is the phone's thickness, which has gone from an already thin 9,3 mm to an incredible 4, maybe 4,5 millimeters. At the same time, the 4th generation iPod touch is only 7,1 mm. For that reason, Apple has also returned to a model with a rounded back, which definitely fits the hand better than the current angular model. Also worth noting is the button to turn off the ringtone, which has moved to the other side of the phone.
Unfortunately, the packaging has not yet revealed anything about the speculated extended home button, and we probably won't learn more until the keynote, which will take place on October 4. One of the current speculations is that Apple will present two iPhones, one of which should be similar in shape to the previous generation. New findings about the iPhone 5 further strengthen this speculation. A large diagonal after all may not suit everyone, and so Apple will offer an alternative for supporters of the classic diagonal, which the iPhone was equipped with for four years.
As it seems, Apple has not rested on its laurels and instead of small changes, it will present something more than just a faster iPhone 4 with a better camera, on the contrary, it has caught on to the new wave of large displays. Two new iPhones really make sense now, and we can't wait to see what else Apple will surprise us with on October 4th.

"from an already thin 9,3 mm it moved to an incredible 4, maybe 4,5 centimeters" - would like to correct it to "4.5 millimeters" ;-)
The thickness of 4 to 4,5 cm is really "remarkable" :-)
You are wrong about the thickness of the phone, as it is millimeters and not centimeters, but the article is interesting.
You can delete my comment, it's irrelevant
did you mean 4 to 4,5mm?
Yes, sure, fixed :-)
Wow, that's a coincidence... A store that regularly has a paid banner as an advertisement for the goods it sells... I really hope that Apple doesn't really introduce something like this. Why would you please increase the diagonal? It would mean either increasing the resolution or counting on a smaller finesse of the display... ?! Neither is part of Apple's product philosophy, or is it?
Why? Perhaps because people want it and are already dreaming about it some Friday? I personally had high hopes for this. I have a 3Gs and the resolution and finesse are more than enough for me, so if they take the display from the 4k and the finesse drops to the level of the 3Gs, I will definitely not mourn it as some kind of disaster...
Oh, so Apple will voluntarily get rid of one of its advantages, namely a perfect display, that doesn't sound very logical to me. If I compare the display of the 3GS and the 4, there is quite a significant difference.
"Maybe because people want it and are already dreaming about it some Friday?" Apparently people in your area, definitely not in mine. Giants like Samsung, who are chasing the highest possible camera resolution and the largest possible diagonal, I don't think Apple is trying to imitate...
I highly doubt that this is not just some hoax attempt by the mentioned e-shop. The whole thing seems pretty unlikely to me. If not, I'm ready to publicly apologize :)
I think they are left :o)
"9,3 mm moved to an incredible 4, maybe 4,5 centimeters"
That's really respectable. But I'm afraid it won't beat the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X. ;-)
That mockup of the iPhone 4 is really interesting, notice the airplane mode icon next to the Wifi icon for example :-)
There can be wifi next to the plane. It must be activated after turning on flights. regime.
yes, I use it regularly – when I go to sleep, I turn off the phone and access the Internet... at least it doesn't hurt if I forget to turn it off
These Chinese ultra slim&large cases have been discussed on foreign websites since the summer. As much as I would love such an iPhone, the appearance of such an iPhone has been strongly questioned for a long time. There is not a single leaked piece of hardware that would prove something so fundamental, allegedly there are no signs of anything so radical even in the accounts and networks of foxconn suppliers. Instead, parts of a new phone with an iPhone 4 design are appearing. Sources are starting to cool us off from the hype by saying that there will be no redesign, and that there won't be a cheap iPhone this year either...
There has already been a story on the web about how this design came about and how the early prototype was sold.
Well, I would believe it, a similar silhouette with an elongated home button also appeared in the iPhoto beta. But the resolution also scares me a little, I like it on the iP4 and I would like it in things too, but then Apple would introduce another new resolution and I don't know how the developers would accept that if they had to redraw the icons again.
Move the Lock button to the left? Why on earth? I can't imagine that and I don't even want to imagine it. I find it horribly inconvenient and therefore a non-Apple solution :)

I'm not saying that I'm wrong with Applemix, but it's a story from practice anyway. We're sitting with the Country Magager AAA Brandy, which is present in Apple Stores all over the world, and he's showing us samples from the new collection, cases not unlike the one shown here with the designation "iPhoneXx" and literally. With a comment, the beginning of the quote: you know it's hard with Apple, we have to prepare everything, and when they arrive on the first day, we'll take a picture of the new iPhone and the production of all the accessories will begin. Zlaty Samsung, they give us everything in advance and collaborate on the development of packaging, etc..end of quote. I don't know why I feel like this is just a shot in the arm...
I doubt that Apple gives the design of its unpresented things to some case manufacturers, even the nameless ones in China. In addition, we are talking here about famous secretaries.
When a new iPhone goes on sale, there is a huge demand for cases, no branded retailer ever has cases, only Apple will offer them on the first day. That too is a strategy.
Well, Chinese manufacturers look for drawings and leaked information, if they hit it and have the packaging on the shelves on the day of launch, it's a business worth millions, in which it pays to take risks.
The question is whether they would do it without "verified" sources, and the Chinese are close to them.
Anyway, apart from these cases that are full of eBay for 5 dollars, there really isn't a single proof that Apple has been producing something like this for months, I wish it wasn't! Foreign servers gave up this hope a month ago, and since then sources have confirmed that only one iPhone will arrive, an upgraded version of the current generation, except for the cases, almost everything points to this.
I think that Apple itself has a part in this, which has noticed people's hype about the design "revolution" and has been releasing information during the last few weeks so that people do not expect more than what they are going to present and are not disappointed.
And I'm glad that you added a question mark and the word "maybe" in the title of the article :-)
What is the point of such an article? Write about useful things. Who cares about this kind of crap?
... but you are MATÚJ ...
This is just a simple jailbreak and some theme in winterboard :))
I don't want 4 inches, I'd rather keep the iPhone 4, I like it the most out of all the iPs, both in terms of shape and processing, but if they present two different iPhones and one will be the same as before, that's ok, but it's a little sad to see that apple is slowly starting to release more of models, if that is the case, it certainly won't be so exclusive anymore, and in the future it will get closer to other phone manufacturers and produce iPhone 5 Maxi and iPhone 5 Mini and Nano and who knows how many different models, I don't really want that. But we'll see, soon.
Do you, like me, find the mockup similar to the Galaxy S II? Well, I have to agree that the iPhone 4 is definitely nicer. So I don't really like the stretching of the display.
Confirmed???? So, with this drool, you have agreed quite a lot... For 1. The back design has not been confirmed and for 2. Apple, the manufacturers of the packaging are completely on their ass.
Get the facts first and don't write nonsense, please.
So I don't know - there's a question mark "Confirmed?", so it's already taken as "thought" from the start.. don't you think???
Martin, I'm afraid you are mistaken. Renowned packaging manufacturers are getting an echo ahead of what the upcoming model will look like. It's a common practice among other companies, and Apple is no exception. I am not suggesting that every Chinese packaging manufacturer will receive valuable information. But these Chinese manufacturers are willing to pay gold for this information, so they cooperate with other more reputable manufacturers and buy the information from them. It's a fairly common practice.
We have slightly edited the title of the article so that it is not misleading, of course no one knows 4% before October 100th what the iPhone will look like, but according to earlier rumors, leaks and packaging (today there was a leak of images of the packaging directly from AT&T, it was the Case- Mate) everything indicates that the iPhone 5 will have the form you see here. Let us realize that we are in the world of Apple, where we live mainly on rumors and leaks due to the secretive practices of the Cupertino company. And let's remember the leak of the iPhone 4 prototype, how many argued tooth and nail that it could not be a real iPhone, that it was simply not "Apple". And today it is the most Apple-like iPhone that everyone knows. everything is a matter of presentation and interpretation. If Steve Jobs (I still believe he'll show up at the Keynote) shows the world what the iPhone is like, based on the shape of the case, the best they could make, 95% of Apple positive people will be convinced the same way he did last year.
The ip5 cases have been on sale for 14 days - as far as I know. Řamani produce iPhones and it is as easy for them to get one as it is not to pay taxes in the Czech Republic...
Check out this video uploaded to YouTube yesterday… another possible “confirmation” of the iPhone 5 appearance (as stated here by the packaging)… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EB11hiwupKM
Considering that we are a distributor of Case-Mate in the Czech Republic and SK, we have information such that the video from CHOZE corresponds more to reality. The launch of two iPhones is of course in play. To which the CM did not want to comment.
I don't know, but the video looks exactly like an iP4 with a slightly bigger display, maybe it's just someone good at a graphics program ;)
and why couldn't it be an iPod touch - there the larger display makes a bit of sense and it has to be thin :-)
That video is fake, notice how the screen on that phone floats during fast movements.
such a paddle?? on the one hand, I think that this guaranteed information is as guaranteed as if my breasts will grow overnight, and on the other hand, I doubt that Apple would proceed with such a large, non-ergonomic paddle, which does not fit properly in the pocket, cannot be properly held in the hand, and which will be its razor blade the shape cuts into the fingers and slides out of them. No, thank you, a 3,7" diagonal and thickness like iP4 would be enough, just with a more ergonomic back :)
I think that many apple fans (and I am one of them) will simply be very disappointed this year. He expects too much. Everything points only to this, even on foreign websites, to the fact that it will be 4S. This case is nothing. As it was written on a well-known Mac website: "packaging manufacturers have to prepare for everything, even if they don't know how the goods will look in the future. We simply have a cover ready for both the 4S and, if there will be a 5" as well. This is exactly what one of the manufacturers of these packaging quoted. Keep your feet on the ground people... I was also looking forward to something new, but it seems more and more that it simply won't be the case this year, and if it is, I'd be pleasantly surprised ;)
So gentlemen, it's really true, it will be "only" 4S ;)
I don't believe it and certainly not 2 iphones. From what I read on macrumors or 9to5mac, 95% of the time it will look the same as the iP4.
Hmm, if you think about it, the Samsung Galaxy S II is an ugly big cake and if the 3,5 display was moved to the 4,3, it would only damage the phone. The fact that a few individuals desire giant displays does not mean that this is the right way
Nice PR job by AppleMix by the way. Or how to draw attention to yourself and not pay a penny for it. A good salesman will always tell you about Adidas shoes that they are genuine, even if they are not...
I think that everything is somewhat similar to what will most likely be presented. I don't know if it will be called 4S or 5, but I'm leaning towards 5. There will be a revolutionary new iOS with iCloud, which together will offer services and capabilities that were not available before - something like more of the MobileMe capabilities that drivers paid for . Well, I would expect a retina display, of course, but I would see the same number of pixels as on the iPad - that's why it will also drip more. It's new and exciting for the iPhone, but at the same time HW has been supported for a long time, so it jumps on the bandwagon that has already started. Well, I would like to transfer to it. :-)
It didn't work out somehow, did it? ;-)
JJ, I was also wondering where the comrades with guaranteed information made a mistake. It would be nice if at least the author of the article said. Guys, sorry, we somehow didn't hear this... :-)
Is there a question mark in the title? Yippee.
We don't have a patent on behind-the-scenes news.
