Smart surveillance with AI accelerator and video backup

TS-AI642, an 8-core AI NAS and an NPU with a performance of 6 TO/s, is one of the most powerful NAS with an ARM processor in the QNAP product portfolio. Designed specifically for AI image recognition and smart surveillance, it offers built-in dual 4K HDMI output, a standard 2,5GbE network port and a PCIe Gen 3 slot to expand its capable hardware with a 10GbE interface. AI NAS is equipped with advanced 76GHz ARM Cortex-A2,2 cores and 55GHz Cortex-A1,8 cores, which offer the ideal ratio of performance and energy saving at an affordable price.

We will also demonstrate energy efficient, scalable and affordable a joint solution from QNAP and Hailo for surveillance using artificial intelligence in large-scale deployment. Instead of purchasing expensive AI cameras, users can easily run AI face recognition and person counting applications on QNAP surveillance servers with Hailo-8 M.2 acceleration modules that boost AI recognition performance.

To the application QVR Recording Vault met the requirements of the policy for keeping backups of surveillance records, offers a central backup solution for long-term storage, which allows videos to be backed up even with metadata or information about recognized faces. Administrators can easily access these backups via computers or mobile devices with the QVR Pro Client application, which allows seamless file browsing, playback or search.

A multi-device, multi-location, multi-cloud backup solution

Hybrid Backup Sync is QNAP's renowned backup solution that makes backup easy with a 3-2-1 strategy. To overcome the problem of managing hundreds of NAS backup jobs, QNAP introduces a tool Hybrid Backup Center, which centralizes the management of large cross-site NAS backup jobs with Hybrid Backup Sync into a single platform – with an amazing topology widget that simplifies large-scale backup management.

QNAP is constantly improving its cloud services and now introduces its own cloud "myQNAPcloud One", which aims to simplify the hybrid backup of QNAP NAS to the QNAP cloud. myQNAPcloud One offers a range of solutions to protect different types of data and make it always available, facilitating hybrid backup for organizations and individuals. In addition to providing full data protection during backup, transfer, and data storage processes, myQNAPcloud One services can also be combined with QNAP Hybrid Backup Sync, Hybrid Backup Center, HybridMount, and more.

NDR switches, Network Virtualization Premise Equipment and high availability at the system level

As networks grow in size and complexity, organizations face challenges in managing not only network hardware but also cyber security. QNAP offers an affordable solution ADRA for Network Detection and Response (NDR), which can be deployed on an access switch and which enables the widest network protection of all connected terminal devices in the LAN environment against targeted ransomware.

At the same time, QNAP promotes the concept of transforming traditional IT rooms into a revolutionary software-defined IT infrastructure. Thanks to Network Virtualization Premise Equipment QuCPE-7030A with up to 10 cores/20 threads and OCP 3.0, which uses VM/VNF/container technology and replaces dedicated network hardware, IT staff in organizations can easily build a virtualized, resilient IT room and even remotely manage IT rooms in multiple locations without being there they had to be physically present. QuCPE further supports high availability at the system level, in order to achieve minimal downtime and maximum service availability.

Storage solutions at the petabyte level

Exponential data growth requires reliable storage that can be flexibly expanded. Visitors can expect comprehensive PB-level storage solutions from QNAP, which are built on robust ZFS-based QuTS hero NAS and new storage units SATA JBOD with PCIe interface (TL-Rxx00PES-RP series with 12, 16 and 24 position models). QNAP also cooperates with Seagate®. As a result, QNAP NAS supports selected models of Seagate Exos E-series JBOD systems, which can also be used to create petabyte storage. With these scalable and affordable solutions, organizations can build data warehouses that can withstand future capacity challenges.

The availability of the above new products will be announced separately. For more information about QNAP products and their features, visit the website www.qnap.com.
