At its Keynote yesterday, Apple presented its four new iPhones – in addition to the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini, it was also the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Max. In our article today, we will focus on the main differences in the technical specifications of the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro.
Appearance and size
Co in terms of color, the iPhone 12 is available in white, black, blue, green and (PRODUCT) RED, while the iPhone 12 is available in silver, graphite grey, gold and pacific blue. The difference between the two models is also in the weight – the dimensions of the iPhone 12 are 146,7 mm x 71,5 mm x 7,4 mm, the weight is 162 grams, the dimensions of the iPhone 12 Pro are the same, but the weight is 187 grams. Both models are equipped with Ceramic Shield front tempered glass for greater durability. As for the chassis, aircraft-grade aluminum was used for the iPhone 12, while surgical steel was used for the iPhone 12 Pro. So the side of the iPhone 12 is matte, while the surgical steel of the iPhone 12 Pro is shiny. The power adapter and EarPods are missing from the packaging of both models, in addition to the iPhone itself, you will find documentation and a Lightning - USB-C cable in the packaging.
Display
The iPhone 12 Pro is equipped with an OLED Super Retina XDR display with a diagonal of 6,1 inches across the entire surface. The display resolution is 2532 × 1170 pixels at 460 PPI. The iPhone 12 has the same display, a 6,1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display with a resolution of 2532 × 1170 at 460 PPI. Both models can boast an HDR display with True Tone, a wide color range (P3), Haptic Touch, a contrast ratio of 2:000 and an oleophobic treatment against fingerprints and smudges. But you can find the difference in the brightness of the two models - for the iPhone 000 Pro, Apple states a maximum brightness of 1 nits, in HDR 12 nits, while for the iPhone 800 it is 1200 nits (in HDR 12 nits).
Features, performance and durability
In terms of resistance, both models offer the same IP68 specification (up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to six meters). iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are equipped with a 6-core Apple A14 Bionic processor with a 16-core Neural Engine of the new generation, the graphics accelerator then has 4 cores. The maximum clock speed of the processor should be 3.1 GHz, but this information is not yet confirmed. Both models are powered by a li-ion battery, the iPhone 12 promises up to 17 hours of video playback, up to 11 hours of video streaming and up to 65 hours of audio playback, the iPhone 12 Pro promises 17 hours of video playback, 11 hours of video streaming and up to 65 hours of audio playback. Both models offer the possibility of Qi wireless charging with a power consumption of up to 7,5 W and support for fast 20 W charging. Both models feature MagSafe charging technology, which can charge these devices at up to 15W. Both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro feature a TrueDepth front-facing camera with Face ID, a barometer, a three-axis gyroscope, an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, and an ambient light sensor, the iPhone 12 Pro additionally still has a LiDAR scanner. iPhone 12 is available in 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB variants, iPhone 12 Pro will be available in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB variants. iPhone 12 Pro offers 6 GB of RAM, iPhone 12 4 GB of RAM. Both models offer 5G connectivity for ultra-fast downloads and streaming in high quality.

One of the most striking differences between the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro lies in the camera. The iPhone 12 Pro offers a photo system consisting of a 12MP ultra-wide camera (aperture ƒ/2,4), a wide-angle camera (aperture ƒ/1,6) and a camera with a telephoto lens (aperture ƒ/2,0), while the iPhone 12 features a photo system with 12MP ultra-wide-angle (aperture ƒ/2,4) and 12MP wide-angle (aperture ƒ/1,6) camera. In addition, the iPhone 12 Pro offers the option of taking portraits in night mode thanks to the LiDAR scanner. Portrait mode as such is offered by both models, but with the iPhone 12 there is software addition. The iPhone 12 Pro camera has 2x optical zoom, 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom. The iPhone 12 camera offers 2x optical zoom and up to 5x digital zoom. You have the wrong display resolution there. The iPhone 12 version has 2532 x 1170 pixels, 460 ppi and the iPhone 12 mini version has 2340 x 1080 pixels, 476 ppi
There is nothing written about the Apple iPhone Mini. The 12 and 12 Pro versions are compared.
That's why they have it wrong in that table, that resolution belongs to the iPhone mini.
Apple's phones are crap anyway.
LiDAR - something stinks here (for your sanity)
MagSafe - I smell something here (for your sanity)
Enjoy blind people…
Hopefully as few people as possible will buy it.
Love & Peace ✌️
First go back to school and learn to write those lemples, only then will you have the right to an opinion. But now, slap yourself.
Well, it's logical that illiterate people don't have enough money for iPhones, it can be legitimately assumed that they simply won't earn money on them. And that's why they slander them...
Stupid person, stupid opinion.
I'm not a supporter of the iPhone either, but you're talking nonsense and you have a phone that you got with a flat rate for a crown anyway. The time when the iPhone had the upper hand in system reliability, etc. is already passing away, and Android, which was previously unusable after half a year, has already been fine-tuned, and some flagships for the money of the iPhone 12 and 13 are often even better. So if I take my 25-30 thousand, nowadays it doesn't matter what phone I buy 😉
Hello, the iPhone 12 (Pro) unboxing and even the first photo comparison with the iPhone 11 Pro have already been published on YT Huramobil. Do you recommend paying extra and buying the iPhone 12 Pro or should I stick with the iPhone 11? According to the comparison, the photos look better on the iPhone 11. Thank you for the answer.
Greetings Josef Sobotka.
I probably wouldn't upgrade from eleven yet. I know the photos from the eleventh grade and they can't be faulted for much. In a year, 5G networks will be more widespread, and it can be expected that the iPhone 13 (or 12S) will be at the same price as the 6s this year. The situation is different for me - I have a 12S Plus, so I'm deciding between the 12 Pro and the XNUMX Pro MAX. And the smaller model will probably win.
Even after two weeks, no one here was able to fix the nonsense in the table? The editors here cut down one article after another, and quantity is important, quality is frowned upon.
Especially in the article, the Pro appendix sometimes falls out, and if the data is the same, just write Also and not repeat all the numbers in a row.
