We are only a week away from the introduction of the new iPhones. Based on countless analyses, speculations, leaks and estimates, the majority of the public has come to the conclusion that we can look forward to the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and iPhone 9, among others. The internet is full of theories about what features the new devices will have. But the second thing is what users expect from the new iPhones. The most recent survey was conducted on this very topic.

Like a number of other surveys of a similar nature, this one was also conducted behind a large puddle. Daily USA Today in his questionnaire, he interviewed 1665 adult residents of the United States about what they would most like from new Apple smartphones. And removing the cutout in the display is not.

The iPhone X notch caused quite a stir at the time of Apple's annual smartphone launch. A year has flown by and now it seems that the cutout is no longer remembered - many of Apple's competitors have even adopted it for their flagships. The survey showed that users don't really care if the notch will be on the new phones. Only ten percent of those surveyed said they would like Apple to remove the notch from the next generation of iPhones. What was the most common wish?

What will the new iPhones look like?

If you guessed battery life, you guessed right. A majority of 75% of the survey participants wanted a better battery life for the new iPhones. The truth is that while many of the iPhone's features and technologies have come a long way in recent years, battery life remains a frequent subject of user complaints. Respondents would welcome a longer battery life, even at the expense of possible dimensions and weight of the new phone.

Other features that users would welcome in the next-generation iPhones include, for example, greater durability or the possibility of memory expansion. The probability that Apple will introduce slots for microSD cards in its smartphones is practically zero, but we may see variants of smartphones with an even higher storage capacity than before. While the cutout at the top of the display has apparently been quickly dismissed by users, the headphone jack is still giving some of them sleep. In the questionnaire, 37% of participants voted for its return. Some also want a USB-C connector, improvements to Face ID and overall acceleration.
