This year, too, Apple will start the conference with an online event, during which a number of very interesting new products will be presented. Of course, it's no surprise to Apple fans that we'll see the first reveal of the expected operating systems. However, it doesn't have to end there. Apple quite possibly has several aces up its sleeve and it's just a question of what it will actually show up with.

As is customary at Apple, we were informed about the conference by means of an official invitation. But don't be fooled. It does not have to inform only about the date of the event, in fact, quite the opposite. As has already been shown several times in the company's history, information about what we can actually look forward to is often indirectly encoded inside the invitation as such. For example, in November 2020, when the first Macs with Apple Silicon chipsets were introduced, Apple published an interactive invitation with its logo that opened just like a laptop lid. From this it was already clear what we can expect. And he published exactly such a thing now.
WWDC 2023 in the spirit of AR/VR
Although Apple does not publish any detailed information about new products in advance and waits to reveal them until the last moment - the keynote itself - we still have a few clues from which possible conclusions can be drawn. After all, as we mentioned above, the Cupertino company often reveals itself what apple lovers can look forward to. He incorporates references to new products into the invitations. Of course, this is not the case only with the mentioned Macs with Apple Silicon. We could see quite a few such references over the last 10 years, when Apple slightly hinted at the arrival of colored iPhones 5C, Siri, the portrait mode of the iPhone 7 and many others.
Let's take a look at this year's invitation. You can view the specific graphic directly above this paragraph. At first glance, these are colored (rainbow) waves that do not reveal much at first glance. That was until the company's official Twitter account chimed in Halide, which specializes in the development of a professional photo application for iPhones and iPads, which with its capabilities significantly exceeds the capabilities of the native Camera. It was at this moment that a very fundamental discovery came. The tweet shows that the color waves from the WWDC 2023 invitation bear a striking resemblance to a phenomenon known as “pancake lens array", which is often used nowhere else than in virtual reality glasses.

Flying around the world with Apple On the other hand, other sources point out that the shape of the waves could also be remade into the circular shape of Apple Park, which would mean that the Cupertino company could be referring to nothing other than its headquarters itself. But given the long-running leaks and speculation that Apple's expected AR/VR headset is Apple's number one priority at the moment, something like this would make sense. In addition, we must not forget the fact that the apple company likes to use similar references in invitations.
What Apple will present at WWDC 2023
As we already mentioned in the beginning, on the occasion of the WWDC 2023 developer conference, we are expecting the presentation of several products. Let's therefore quickly summarize what Apple actually has in store for us.
New operating systems
The alpha and omega of the entire keynote, on the occasion of the opening of the WWDC 2023 developer conference, are the new versions of Apple's operating systems. The company presents them every year in June during this event. It is therefore more than clear that Apple fans can wait for the first reveal of the appearance, news and changes planned in iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS 14 and tvOS 17. Now it is just a question of what we can actually look forward to. Initial speculation was that iOS 17, the most anticipated operating system, would not offer much joy. However, the leaks have now taken a sharp turn. On the contrary, we should look forward to groundbreaking functions that users have been calling for for a long time.
AR / VR headset
One of the most anticipated Apple products of recent times is the AR/VR headset, which is the number one priority in Apple's eyes. At least that's what leaks and speculation say about him. For Apple, this product is also important because the current CEO Tim Cook could build his legacy on it, who could thus come out of the shadow of Steve Jobs. In addition, the invitation itself speaks in favor of the presentation of the expected headset, as we discussed above.
15″ MacBook Air
In the Apple community, there has also been talk for a long time about the arrival of the 15″ MacBook Air, with which Apple should target ordinary users who, on the other hand, need/welcome a larger screen. The truth is that the current offer is not exactly the most pleasant for these users. If this is a person for whom the basic model is just fine, but the display diagonal is an extremely important attribute for him, then he practically has no reasonable choice. Either he puts up with the small screen of the 13″ MacBook Air, or reaches for the 16″ MacBook Pro. But it starts at 72 CZK.

When Apple announced its ambitions to switch Macs to Apple's own Silicon chipsets in 2020, it mentioned that it would complete the process within two years. So this means that by the end of 2022, there should not have been any Apple computer powered by an Intel processor.
