The year 2024 will be crucial for Apple, mainly due to the start of sales of the Apple Vision Pro. Of course, we know what to look forward to next. It is not only the iPhone 16, Apple Watch X and the entire portfolio of tablets, but we should also be waiting for the rejuvenation of AirPods. What, on the other hand, should not be expected from the company at all? Here's an overview of what you shouldn't look forward to, so you won't be disappointed that you missed it.

iPhone SE 4

It is certain that Apple's budget iPhone is in the works, and has been for quite some time. The original rumors even talked about the fact that we should really expect it in 2024, but in the end it shouldn't be. Its design should be based on the iPhone 14, it should have an OLED display, an Action button, USB-C, Face ID and, theoretically, its own 5G modem. But only next year.

Air Tag 2

There is not the slightest information about the successor to Apple's localization label. Even though last year, for example, Samsung came up with the Galaxy SmartTag2, it had room to advance its first generation, but in the case of Apple and AirTag, it is not entirely obvious. There's a lot of talk about the next-generation Ultra Wideband chip and its redesign, but it's just not enough for the next generation. So for now we have to let the taste go. Production of the second generation should begin at the end of the year, and its presentation will not take place until the following year.

iMac Pro

It's quite likely that Apple will ditch the larger iMac. If it comes, it will rather bear the name iMac Pro, which has historically only seen one generation. Since the M3 iMac arrived last year, we won't see a successor or expansion of the portfolio until next year at the earliest.

Jigsaw puzzles
Neither the foldable iPhone nor the foldable iPad will arrive yet. Apple is taking its time and is not rushing anywhere, even though Samsung will introduce the 6th generation of its flexible smartphones this year. As in the case of the iPhone SE, it is almost certain that Apple is working on some kind of flexible device, but nothing is forcing it, because the folding market is not very big yet, so it is waiting for the ideal period when it will be sure that the product it pays off.

Apple Watch Ultra with MicroLED display

The 3rd generation Apple Watch Ultra will arrive in September, but it won't feature the expected microLED display. We will see this only in the upcoming generation, when its size will also increase by 10% to 2,12 inches.

Products with a question mark

Apple may surprise. Even if there is no point in waiting for the previously mentioned products, it is possible that we will eventually miss them for the following ones. First of all, it is a HomePod with a display, secondly, a cheap version of the Apple Vision 3D computer, and thirdly, the next generation of Apple TV.
