Yesterday after seven o'clock in the evening, Apple released a new beta version for the upcoming iOS 11.1. This is beta number three and is currently only available to those with a developer account. During the night, the first information about what Apple added to the new beta appeared on the web. Server 9to5mac he already made a traditional short video about the news, so let's watch it.

One of the biggest (and definitely the most noticeable) innovations is the reworking of the 3D Touch activation animation. The animation is now smooth and Apple has managed to remove the annoying choppy transitions, they didn't look the best. In a direct comparison, the difference is clearly visible. Another practical change for the better is the additional debugging of Availability mode. In the current version of iOS, it was not possible to access the notification center if the user did not swipe over the top edge of the screen. In the newly redesigned Availability mode, everything works as it should. The notification center can therefore also be "pulled out" by moving from the upper half of the screen (see video). The last change is the return of haptic feedback to the lock screen. As soon as you enter the wrong password, the phone will let you know by vibrating. This feature has been gone for the past few versions and now it's finally back.

As it seems, the third beta is also a sign of fine-tuning and gradually fixing iOS 11. The upcoming big patch iOS 11.1 will thus serve mainly as one big patch for the new iOS 11, which came out in a state that we are not very used to at Apple. Hopefully, Apple will manage to eliminate all the shortcomings that are in the current live version.
