After an impatient wait, we finally officially learned from Apple when the Keynote will be held to introduce the new iPhone 15 series. It will happen on Tuesday, September 12. But what does Apple want to show us here? Will it just be about iPhones and watches, or will we see something more?

iPhone 15 and 15 Plus

The basic iPhone 15 could finally get Dynamic Island, which only the iPhone 14 Pro now has, and we sincerely hope for an adaptive display refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The replacement of the Lightning connector with USB-C is expected here, which will also be reflected in the packaging, which will include a newly braided USB-C cable in the color that matches the iPhone (black, green, blue, yellow, pink). The chip will be the A16 Bionic, which Apple now uses in the iPhone 14 Pro series.

iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max (Ultra)

Like the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Pro models will switch to USB-C. However, higher-end models could offer faster charging, up to 35W compared to the iPhone 14 Pro's 27W. The iPhone 15 Pro can also support Thunderbolt speeds for data transfers of up to 40Gbps. Steel will be replaced by matte textured titanium in space black, silver, titanium gray and navy blue. Apple then replaces the volume rocker with an action button. The 3nm A17 Bionic chip will also be present. The iPhone 15 Pro Max should then be the only one in the series to include an improved camera system with a periscope telephoto lens, which should offer 5x or 6x optical zoom.

Apple Watch Series 9

The Series 9 is not expected to somehow redefine the form and functionality of the company's smartwatches, as we could see here last year with the first generation Ulter. Actually, only a new and faster S9 chip is expected, which will also have an effect on extending the battery life. After all, the new chip will come for the first time since the Series 6, when Apple only labeled them differently, even though they were basically identical. A new color will probably arrive, which will be pink (not rose gold). Next up will be classic dark ink, starry white, silver and (PRODUCT)RED red. They could be introduced with a new strap with textile materials and a magnetic clasp.

Apple Watch Ultra 2

It is likely that the Apple Watch Ultra 2nd generation will also get the S9 chip, which will stretch their battery life even further. Even with them, however, there should be no more news than an additional color. This could be one of those that will also receive the iPhone 15 Pro, so that the watch corresponds better with them. Apple will probably also come up with a new type of durable strap designed for the most demanding conditions.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch Series 9 will actually be the 10th generation of Apple's smartwatches. The very first one is called Series 0, but it doesn't suit us because the company introduced Series 1 and 2 in the very second year of the Apple Watch's existence. So Apple can introduce not only Series 9 (when, for example, we didn't get the iPhone 8 at all), but also the annual Apple Watch X, just as he did with the iPhone XNUMX and iPhone X. Although analysts mention that this will not happen until next year, however, you never know what kind of ace Apple has up its sleeve.

AirPods with USB-C

In line with the iPhone 15's move to USB-C, Apple could, according to some rumors at its September event to reveal a new version of AirPods Pro with a charging case with a USB-C connector instead of Lightning. However, this should be the only change that will be intended only for Apple to unify its "USB-C portfolio". For older models, i.e. standard AirPods or AirPods Max, it should only do so with their future generation.

Foldable iPhone

It would be a nice One More Thing, but if we had to bet, we wouldn't put a fiver on it. Leaks are to blame for this, but they are really silent about the foldable iPhone. For that reason too, it is not really possible to assume that it would have finally occurred to him.
