As a company, Apple does not participate in the biggest technology conferences and, on the contrary, creates its own approach, when it organizes these events itself. That is why we can look forward to several Apple Events every year, during which the most interesting news and upcoming plans are presented. There are usually 3-4 conferences a year - one in the spring, the second on the occasion of the WWDC developer conference in June, the third takes the floor in September, led by the new iPhones and Apple Watch, and the whole thing ends with an October keynote revealing the latest news of the year.

Therefore, quite important information clearly emerges from this. The first keynote of 2023 should be literally around the corner. It usually takes place either in March or April. In this regard, it depends on how Apple actually keeps up with development, and whether it has anything to brag about at all. And there are several question marks hanging over that this year. Let's therefore focus together on what is likely to await us now in March. In the final, Apple probably won't please its loyal fans too much.

Spring keynote in jeopardy

In the apple growing community, news is starting to spread that we may not see the spring keynote this year. According to initial leaks and speculations, in the spring of this year, the giant was supposed to boast relatively interesting and ground-breaking products. In connection with the spring keynote, the long-awaited AR/VR headset, which is supposed to fundamentally expand Apple's portfolio and show which direction future technologies can go, was most often mentioned. But the devil didn't want it, Apple can't keep up again. Although it was supposed to be a mere presentation now, while the market entry was planned for the later part of 2023, it still had to be moved to the developer conference WWDC 2023, which will take place in the aforementioned June.

This literally ruined the plans for the most fundamental product, which was supposed to attract the imaginary spotlight. Only the last ace remains in Apple's sleeve – the 15″ MacBook Air, or rather a completely ordinary Air in a larger body. That is the fundamental problem. It is a question whether Apple will start a full-fledged conference if it only has one "important" product ready in quotation marks. Hence the current concern about whether the March keynote will take place at all. But it doesn't look very happy yet. Therefore, two versions are currently being worked on – either the conference will take place in April 2023 and the 15″ MacBook Air and Mac Pro with Apple Silicon will be introduced, or the spring Apple Event will be waived exceptionally.

What will March bring?

Now let's shed some light on what actually awaits us in March. The postponed keynote does not mean that Apple cannot surprise us with anything. The arrival of the new version of the iOS 16.5 operating system, which Apple started testing at the end of February, is still in the game. Even in this case, unfortunately, it is not the happiest, on the contrary. There are concerns as to whether the Cupertino giant is even able to launch the system in March. In the end, it is quite likely that nothing ground-breaking awaits us this month, and we will have to wait for the real surprise some Friday.
