CleanMyMac can now find all locally stored attachments in Mail that you don't usually need anymore but are taking up disk space. Likewise, CleanMyMac will also scan iTunes and delete old iOS updates or device backups. These can add up to several gigabytes as a result.
Those who use these two system applications will certainly welcome the news in CleanMyMac. If you store email attachments on the provider's servers, there is no need for them to take up disk space when you can download them at any time. Likewise, there's no need for iTunes to store discontinued updates or apps that you don't necessarily need on your computer either. You can easily remove all this thanks to CleanMyMac 3.
The completely new maintenance section makes CleanMyMac 3 a universal "cleaning" tool. Until now, it was necessary to use additional third-party applications for activities such as repairing disk permissions (most tasks can be done directly in the system), but now it is all in one. You choose the actions you want to perform, and CleanMyMac will also describe to you exactly what they are for and when it is appropriate to activate them.
For example, if Spotlight stops working for you, just reindex it. Until now, applications such as Cocktail or MainMenu were used for such actions, but they are no longer necessary. However, not everyone performs similar maintenance on their Mac, so this innovation in CleanMyMac may not appeal to everyone. But I can say from my own experience that these tools do not exist just for form, but really work.
The user can contact more privacy control. In CleanMyMac 3, you can very quickly delete browsing or download history in your browsers or delete conversations in Messages. You have complete control over what you delete, just like any other activity that CleanMyMac performs. The application will always notify you of what exactly it is deleting, and if it could be important documents, it will always ask you for confirmation in advance.
Finally, in addition to cleaning and maintenance, CleanMyMac 3 also monitors your computer's performance. In the Dashboard, you can see how your disk, operating memory, battery and processor are doing. If, for example, you use too much RAM, the disk reaches too high temperatures or the battery has reached a critical state, CleanMyMac 3 will notify you.

I have to say from my own experience, it's a very good tool, I've been using it since the first version and it works without the slightest error.
I don't see why I would pay 500,- for optimization on a MAC? Is it worth it at all? Will it really help you in any way?
By the way, I don't really like apps outside the store. I don't see why the developers don't make versions (even if they are more expensive) even in the store.
