Social media is full of bright people who will notice any inconsistency. The same happened to the Chinese diplomat who wrote a mocking tweet at Apple. He stood up for his home brand Huawei.

US President Donald Trump has unleashed a trade war between the US and China. Of course, this change also affects companies from both sides of the barricade. The shootout therefore also directly concerns Apple and/or Huawei. Meanwhile, tensions continue to rise, and Huawei has even been blacklisted in the US. Its products are therefore completely popular in the USA.

Of course, the political representatives of both countries are also involved in the trade war. One of the Chinese diplomats who works at the embassy in Islamabad tweeted:

BREAKING NEWS: Just found out why @realDonaldTrump hates a private company from China so much he declared a national alert. Look at the Huawei logo. Like an apple cut into pieces...

This isn't the first time someone has tried this joke. The whole tweet wouldn't be interesting if Zhao Lijian wasn't tweeting from his iPhone. Paradoxically, the whole attempt to make a joke about the opponent seems like a farce.

In the past, similar "accidents" happened, for example, to Samsung, which promoted the smartest smartphone in the form of the Galaxy Note 9 from an Apple phone, or when representatives Huawei wished the New Year with a tweet from an iPhone.

Huawei number two worldwide, but for how long

On the other hand, the Chinese manufacturer is really doing well. Over the last year, the company has grown by 50% and is already in second place worldwide. Other manufacturers, including Apple, on the other hand, tend to stagnate or even decline in sales of their devices. However, Apple still has the upper hand, as its profits are more than double with $58 billion compared to Huawei's, which is around $25 billion.

However, Huawei has more problems going forward than just competing with Apple. Google announced a few days ago that it stops providing its Android mobile operating system to this manufacturer. However, the latter is the key software in every Huawei smartphone. Rapid growth can thus turn into a rapid fall if some form of agreement is not reached.
