The Internet browser Google Chrome for iOS came with a very interesting update. In its universal version for iPhone and iPad, it received a number of new functions, including a widget to the Notification Center, support for expanding applications and a new gesture when pulling the screen down (pull to reload).

Chrome's Notification Center widget is a handy shortcut that lets you start browsing the web right away. You now have a button to open a new tab and a button to start voice search directly on the lock screen. If you have a copied link in your clipboard, you can open it in Chrome directly from the Notification Center.

In addition, Chrome gained the ability to use the share button to launch other applications' extensions. You will now be able to fill in passwords just as easily as in Safari thanks to the 1Password extension, save articles for later reading via the Pocket extension, and so on.

Finally, Chrome also comes with an elegant pull-to-reload gesture for quickly updating the page. So you will be able to handle Chrome as you are used to with other applications whose window sometimes needs to be updated - Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and the like. In addition, the screenshot is not only used to refresh the page - by sliding your finger left or right, you can easily open a new panel or close the current one with one finger.
