Such an experience can have many different variations, it doesn't even have to be an example of forgetfulness, sometimes you just want to handle insurance as conveniently as possible. I myself consider running around branches of offices, banks and insurance companies to be the riskiest category of mental sport, that is why I Top-Insurance with curiosity (and hope) he installed.
I was not very impressed with the title screen, but it is a matter of your taste, in short, neither the color combination nor the solution of the buttons and icons simply do not please me. However, for this type of app, I can put aside the desire for a disarming design and focus on functionality. And Top-Pojištění was very pleasantly surprised.
Even if I really enjoyed communicating behind the counters, the application makes it possible to very quickly get a comparison across the offer of all domestic big players. If I decide that I'm going on a week-long business trip to Italy today, the program only takes a few seconds for you to clearly compare the options with whom to insure. After clicking on a specific menu, a details screen will appear. It's much more efficient than browsing the Internet, the application runs smoothly and the graphics on all the other screens are noticeably better.
I regularly go to Slovakia, for example, I have family there, but also work projects (training). If I'm going to think about Příhod's uncle, I launch the app and select the option Arrange insurance.
The great advantage of the application lies in the ability to guide even such form anti-talents as me by the hand to successfully fill out the travel insurance application. The application has three steps in the application (three screens between which you move by dragging your finger) and the required fields for insurance are also colored differently.

So let's take a closer look at the whole process:
- The first screen when purchasing insurance contains the most important input data. Dates of departure from the homeland and arrival back, destination and type of trip. For training, I chose the country Slovakia and from the three categories of trips the one with the name work journey – non-manual work (you can then choose manual work or tourism).
- I move my finger to the next screen. I choose the option that I am driving alone and enter my age. You can easily add passengers and also choose the option that you all form one family.
- I move to the last screen. Here you can choose from the types of sports (recreational, winter, risky - and also activate that the sport is organized), but I definitely had to check the basic insurable risks - the mandatory ones include medical expenses and assistance services, but you can also add accident insurance, luggage insurance and responsibilities. The application also offers the possibility to add trip cancellation insurance.
- Since I filled in everything that was needed, a button is activated in the upper right corner Calculation. The data is stored for the calculation of offers and their mutual comparison.
- Of course, it always depends on what you have chosen, sometimes there can be so many offers that you have to scroll, other times - as the picture shows - you can do with one screen. The application clearly compares the offers from the cheapest to the most expensive, with the fact that you can see the insurance company in each line, but also the so-called treatment limits, from which you can sort of deduce to what extent the offer is actually advantageous for you. And if even this simple graphic processing wasn't completely decisive, by clicking on the line you will get to the details of the given offer.
- Allright then. I decided to settle for the cheapest offer, click on it and in the upper right corner choose Buy.
- A screen comes up where I type in my policyholder details (that's a word, huh?). However, the person arranging the insurance (the policyholder) does not always have to be the insured person, so at the bottom of the screen you will also find the option that the equal sign you will cancel, which means that you will fill in the name of the person who is to travel on the next screen, where there are details of the insured persons. Since I take out the insurance and also travel (and alone), all the given data will automatically be transferred to this second screen as well. Then just click the button Further.
- All the collected information (filled by you and those related to the insurance policy) will appear in front of you for review. And since everything is fine, I'll tap the bottom button Order Now. Two variants will appear - either I will want to order and pay directly from the application, or I will just order - with the fact that I will take care of the payment later, for example via the Internet, not directly from the application. I prefer the faster option - to pay directly.
- You will receive a confirmation of the order (or payment immediately) to the e-mail address you entered. Just be careful, my mail went to SPAM, so don't wait too long and take a look in this folder right away, because Top Pojištění will send a confirmation in no time.
- After successful payment, you will receive a complete travel insurance contract both in your e-mail and in the application. You will also receive a password in the e-mail, through which you can then log in on the Top Pojištění website or in the application, and you will have all existing contracts handy.
Maybe someone will find the instructions divided into ten points to be too long, but the whole entry process is very fast (unless, of course, you are hunting from the head where you actually live...). If I blamed the first screen for its ugliness, it doesn't apply to the rest. The graphical interface is much more sober and the individual lines are clearly laid out.
I also appreciate the added value/features of the application, such as the creation of templates, from which the settings can then be transferred to the newly created travel insurances. And I like the "box" too Fits. It informs you about the weather, currency rates, or also offers to find out, either by your own location or input, the current weather and its forecast for the next three days, calculate currency conversions or - what's great - quickly call the local police, fire brigade or rescue service.
