Swenak also shared his impressions of the iPhone 4. He appreciates the overall design of the iPhone 4, it holds perfectly, the fingers do not slip, it is pleasant in the hand and, of course, it does not creak when you try to "twist" it. The iPhone 4 is very fast (which is certainly helped by the 512 MB RAM).
The problem could arise with the plastic frame around the glass, where small scratches and scuffs are likely to accumulate, but on the other hand, the glass is better protected if you have it on a table with the glass on it. The GPS was surprisingly fast, catching on almost immediately. It feels much better in the pocket than the previous models, because it is really significantly thinner.

As for the battery, after an hour of playing games, surfing, Youtube and Google Maps, the battery dropped by 10%, which means a much better battery life. Although the author is anti Mac OS and iOS, the new iPhone 4 surprised him and he really likes it.

Just a detail, but the iPhone 4 does not have 512 MB of RAM, but only 256, just like the 3GS and iPad, the RAM is directly in the A4 chip, which is the same as the iPad, which has 256...
QuenliQi: about the size of RAM, it probably needed a special news, but the new iPhone 4 really has 512 MB of RAM (2x as much as in the iPad).. it was confirmed at WWDC..
hmm, it looks like you're right, so they probably stuffed a slightly different A4 in there or they'll unlock it on the iPad when they want - or maybe the A4s that passed the tests with only half the frame went into the iPads..., it's hard to say...
more frame is a good move .. many applications fail just because of this on the iPhone 3G - where there is a maximum of 64 MB left for a real app, the rest of the memory is eaten up by jailbreak or the telephone subsystem, safari, mail, ipod - it's much better on ipod touch...
it will just lead to the convenience of app creators that everything will run fine on the 4c and on the older ones anyway or they will crash or they won't directly support those devices anymore :-)
:) .. you messed up a bit. A4 has an integrated memory controller, that's all. Ram is normally installed next to it in a "slot" (well, it's not a slot), it wouldn't even make sense. This way, the 512 (in addition to 256 for the iPad, GS) are times more than the A4 itself.

Swenak, or someone, could you please test whether it is possible to write correctly in Czech on an iPhone 4, for example "participate" with dashed, NOT CIRCLED Ú? When I type this on the iPhone 3G, the phone arbitrarily changes it to "participate", which is gross. If you have the ability to send bug reports to Apple, please do so. Thanks. Or if someone can advise me where to effectively write to Apple, I will be happy. We all love Apple precision so……:o)
The possibility to write with complete Czech diacritics is perhaps from version iOS 2.0 OMG! So I don't understand your problem with the word "participate".
So even on a 3G you can write úú...just hold the letter U on the keyboard for a while and choose the appropriate character,, in your case ú.
But the girl wrote it well, read it carefully after her and then be smart. On an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.1, it writes correctly and completes it as "participate"

The iPhone 4 in the Czech Republic really surprised me... :-) As for the possibility of leakage from Foxconn, that's nonsense, the iPhone is produced exclusively in China. The same applies to developers, they are not at that level of communication with Apple. The only option is a test product with the operator, I would almost put my hand in the fire for that! :-) And yes, I envy you Swenak! ;-)
