Apple picker The Ventusky application recently came up with a new feature in the form of smooth animations that are very engaging. Instead of a flickering and incoherent transition between individual forecast maps when the time changes, there is now a smooth transition from one forecast map to another in the application. All values between forecast times are interpolated by the application. Changes and developments in the weather are thus much easier to see.
The new technology has an eye-catching effect when monitoring, for example, the movement of air masses, when they gradually spill out and it can be seen that they essentially behave like liquids. No weather app in the world currently offers such breathtaking visualizations of meteorological data. Ventusky further pushes the boundaries of what a weather app can do.
In addition, Ventusky displays all data on an interactive 3D globe. Everything is fluid and advanced technologies allow calculations directly on the phone in real time. This was possible mainly due to the fact that the entire application is written natively directly for iOS and Android without the use of any third-party libraries. The entire technology is created directly in the Czech Republic. Smooth animations are currently available in iOS and Android apps. The web version of Ventusky.com does not offer them yet.
VS regarding the graphics and options for what to display is great. But what bothers me is the fact that if I switch from the display after 1 to 3 o'clock or vice versa, I see completely different weather at the same time.
