Apple picker Commercial message: A Czech e-shop has started selling all MacBooks, iMacs and iPads from last year and the year before last MacOutlet. Apples that are one, two or three years old sell up to forty percent cheaper.
For example 2018 MacBook Pro visited several warehouses and shops around Europe. No one has ever unpacked it even from the outer cardboard box. It is back on the market at two-thirds the price thanks to the clever guys from the Prague Mac-Outlet team. They have been selling and servicing laptops for an incredible twenty years. And the possibility of selling Apple, albeit an outlet, excited them.
Salvaged MacBooks back on the market
"Mac-Outlet rescues unsold Apple computers from premium stores, from where sellers always have to mercilessly return them to the manufacturer by a certain date," said Mac-Outlet boss Radek Kuchař. At the same time, computers are still covered by the official one-year international Apple warranty. "We provide the second year of the warranty. We don't want to differentiate between end users and business users. Out of the several hundred units sold last year, only one computer came in for warranty service, and the battery failed," Kuchař added. The warranty begins on the date of sale in the Mac-Outlet e-shop. And the batteries for computers, which have mostly not been turned on three years after production, are always checked before being sold. "Before we send the laptop to the customer, we want to be 100% sure that everything is in perfect order".

Unless you're a tech geek, you don't need the latest generation processor. The performance difference between the latest MacBook and the one from last year is in the order of one percent. But the price difference is between twenty and forty percent against the comparable current model.
In the menu you can find, for example, light MacBook 12 with 256GB SSD from 2017 for CZK 22 or a more professional MacBook Air from 900 with a 2018GB SSD for CZK 256. MacBook Pro 26 with 900GB SSD from 13 starts at CZK 256.
The iMac that nobody wanted
An inflated iMac with a 1TB SSD drive and 4K Retina for CZK 43. The offer also includes several MacBook PRO 900 with professional configuration: 15 GB RAM, 16 TB SSD disk. Most iMacs and 1″ MacBooks come from the Apple Certified Refurbished program. In a certain percentage of cases, customers will return computers sold through the international Apple Store without giving a reason. Since Apple never sells unpackaged goods, the computer will be inspected and possibly refurbished directly at the Apple factory. It gets a new serial number, new accessories and a box and starts life again. The difference in price compared to a new similar model is up to forty percent.
A unique outlet was thus created on the Czech Apple scene, which fills the gap between Apple premium stores, where you can only buy the latest models, and bazaars, on the other hand, where used and old laptop models without warranty are sold.
