A new iPad game has appeared in the App Store called Cargo-Bot. Although it is a classic puzzle game where you use a robotic arm to stack boxes, Cargo-Bot is special in something else - the way it was developed. The application was completely created on the iPad...

Cargo-Bot is the work of the Two Lives Left development team, and the entire game was designed and coded using only an iPad and the Codea programming app. By the way, the same developers are responsible for this. Codea is available in the App Store for 7,99 euros and is nicknamed GarageBand for iPad coding for its interface and ease of use.

However, until now, games created in Codee, which uses the Lua programming language, could only be run in its interface. But Two Lives Left created a tool to export the code of the created apps so that they can be submitted to the App Store. Registered iOS developers can now use the Codea Runtime Library source code and use Codea to create their own applications, which they will then offer in the App Store.

As for Cargo-Bot, it is the first ever game to be developed entirely on the iPad. It was given life by Rui Van, who was then approached by the Two Lives Left team to publish the game on the App Store. Also a member of the team is Fred Bogg, who developed the music library for Codea and thus also created the music for Cargo-Bot.

Despite the fact that Cargo-Bot is created only with the help of an iPad, it is a really good game that can also keep you entertained for a long time. The game contains 36 levels, in which your task will be to teach the robot how to stack boxes correctly. In the puzzle game you will enjoy catchy music and amazing Retina graphics.
