Taking photos with an iPhone is quite common these days, and many people no longer even use other devices to capture snapshots of everyday life. This is exactly what the Czech creators of the Capturio application are building on, which will "develop" your photos and send them to your inbox.

Your task is only to select the desired photos in the application, choose the size of the printed image, their number, pay and... that's it. Others will take care of the rest for you.

When you first launch Capturia, you're prompted to create your account, with just a name and email. Then it's down to business. Use the button in the upper right corner to create a new album, which you can name as you like, and choose the format of the printed photos. There are currently three formats available – 9×13 cm, 10×10 cm and 10×15 cm.

In the next step, you have several options where to draw photos from. On the one hand, of course, you can choose from your own device, but Capturio can also connect to galleries on Instagram and Facebook, which is very handy. A square size of ten by ten centimeters is also suitable for Instagram.

Once selected and marked, Capturio will upload your photos and you can continue working with them. You can still choose the format in the preview of the printed album. A green or yellow whistle or a red exclamation mark is displayed for each photo. These marks indicate the quality of the photo and inform you how well the image can be printed. If an item has a green border around it, it means the photo is cropped or fits the selected format.

By clicking on the preview of individual photos, the number of copies is selected, and Capturio even offers the option of editing the image. On the one hand, you can crop classically, but also add favorite filters. There are eight filters to choose from. Once you're done, confirm your order with the button below and proceed to fill in the address.

At the end comes the payment, as expected. The price for one photo starts at 12 crowns, and in Capturio, the more photos you order, the less you pay per piece. Shipping is free worldwide. You can pay either with your credit card or via PayPal.

Capturio states that average delivery times are one to three days for the Czech Republic, two to five days for Europe, and a maximum of two weeks for other countries. Shortly after Capturio appeared in the App Store, I tried printing eight photos. My order was received on Sunday at 10 a.m., the same day at 17 p.m. a notification popped up on my iPhone telling me that my album was already being printed. Immediately, information arrived that the shipment was being prepared for dispatch and was already on its way to me the next day. I found it in the mailbox on Tuesday, less than 48 hours after the order.

The handsome blue envelope was wrapped in classic white to ensure that nothing happens to the ordered product. Next to the Capturia logo, a note of your choice may also appear among the photos, but only in the form of text on a piece of ordinary paper, nothing special.

You may remember that we brought some time ago Printic app review, which offers practically the same as Capturio. This is indeed the case, but there are several reasons why it is worthwhile to use a Czech product. Capturio is cheaper. While with Printic you always pay twenty crowns for each photo, with Capturia you can get almost half the price for a larger order. Capturio creates photos using the so-called RA4 method, which is a method based on a chemical process similar to developing photos in a darkroom. This guarantees color stability for decades. At the same time, up to three people supervise the highest quality of the photos during the order, so the highest possible quality and color stability for decades are guaranteed.

Another advantage of Capturia is the ability to choose the image format. Printic only offers relatively small Polaroid photos, which will also bring Capturio with additional dimensions in the future. Czech developers are also preparing other materials for printing, for example covers for mobile phones.
