Camera+, which has become one of the most popular photography apps, from the developers of TapTapTap, was removed from the AppStore last week. The reason was said to be a two-week old update adding new functions. However, Apple didn't like them and pulled the app.
The update added hidden features to the app, after opening camplus://enablevolumesnap in mobile Safari, you could use the volume buttons on the side of the iPhone to take pictures. The developers added something to the application that Apple does not agree with in any way, so the consequence was clear. Download Camera+ from the AppStore.
Once again, it has been proven that Apple does not like hidden elements and it is only a matter of time before the application in question leaves the AppStore. So Camera+ is currently unavailable, hopefully not for much longer. However, if you have previously purchased the app, you can still use it. Potential buyers will have to wait until the wildly popular Camera+ returns to the AppStore.
It will be very interesting to see how this issue develops. TapTapTap is a well-known development team and Apple has even previously named Camera+ as “App Of The Week”. It generated $253 in sales in the first month of its launch and $000 in the second month.
Personally, I found the conflicting elements of the app to be very good and useful. I have to admit that I do not agree with this withdrawal at all and it seems like a great shame. However, Apple maintains firm policies that developers must respect, and its intransigence is generally well known.

First of all, I don't understand why the update even went through. Maybe they just didn't figure it out during the approval process. But then I would understand that they only took it down so that the creators could prepare a version that does not have the unauthorized functions. Otherwise, I understand Apple's approach. The volume buttons are meant to control the volume and not confuse the customer by sometimes controlling something else. Unfortunately, it's a shame that even the iPhone 4 doesn't have a special hardware button to launch the camera and then take photos and record videos.
Hmm, that's nice, it really works. :-) It finally has a hw trigger. :-) I'm glad I bought this app a few days ago.
Among other things - Lisa Bettany (mostlylisa.com), a photographer (among other things) known to local fans from appearing in MacHeist clips, uses this app and describes it on her website.
I have to draw your attention once again to the site mostlylisa.com, where there is also a video of using this application, and photographers must admit that its possibilities are really great - the ability to set the focus to any place on the display is known on the iPhone, but the ability to do this independently setting a place to set the exposure is really cool. If you have this app and don't know all the options, I recommend playing around with it - I think it's unrivaled on the iPhone.

Nothing against it, but you've probably already been brainwashed by Apple, which itself decides for the customer what they think is best for him. This is what annoys me about their fest policy. So that the customer doesn't get scared that the volume button can also do something else, oh my god. And a smart developer used it for his app's features, I'd rather download it even though it made a buck last month.
I probably wouldn't be so harsh, but I have to agree that those buttons (even on them) don't explicitly say that they control the volume, and using them as a trigger seems like a great idea and quite a logical thing. Alternatively, it could also work as a "zoom" (if there was an option to use the buttons in the application).
AppStore, iPhone, … are Apple products. It is logical that they decide what and how he will behave. Those who don't like it can choose elsewhere. Apple's behavior like this ensures that we are satisfied with the consistent behavior of their products. If something like this were possible on OS X, the applications of other developers would immediately be at a higher level.
Consistent behavior of their products? Don't make me laugh.
"us" satisfied, do you mean those who blindly follow apple mass? Personally, I also use Apple wherever possible, but with JB. Without it, thanks to that consistency, I wouldn't be able to delete, for example, a call I don't want there, from the history, or I wouldn't know!! that my sms and many others were delivered to the other party. Stick the consistency somewhere.
I have to agree, at the moment I'm in a state of either making jb or switching to android, because I'm not able to get through the things just mentioned above.
