There are never enough space strategies. The joy of watching your space empire expand and spread its influence across the stars is a pastime we were able to experience in the genre-defining Stellaris, for example. The ambitions of its creators, Paradox Interactive, are generally grand, so it's admirable that such an established name is getting competition from smaller studios. One of them is Blackflag Games, who have just launched their new strategy game Rising Constellation into space.

In Rising Constellation, you take control of a classically developing multiplanetary superpower. Your task will then be to expand its territory as much as possible. To do this, the game offers you a plethora of different ways. In the role of one of the five offered factions, you will mainly take care of the proper management of your resources. Only efficient nations can become great galactic empires. To acquire new planets, in addition to developing new technologies, your armies and the ability to aggressively spread your political influence, i.e. hire different types of spies to deal with your rivals, will serve you.

The peculiarity of Rising Constellation, however, is its strong emphasis on the multiplayer mode. You can play the game in cooperation with your friends and with foreign players. And if you are not a team player, you will also enjoy wars against others to your heart's content. In addition, the developers added an interesting option to the game to choose how complex a game you want to play. The game then changes depending on what length of campaign you choose. The choice is between several hours of real-time combat and several weeks of strategic battle, which will surely keep you awake.
