Apple wants to move MacBook and iPad production to Vietnam

The People's Republic of China could be described as the world's largest factory. Practically every day you can come across various products that are equipped with an inscription Made in China. According to the latest reports coming from Reuters magazine, the Californian giant has reportedly asked Foxconn, which is the most important link in the Apple supply chain and takes care of assembling Apple products, whether it could partially move the production of MacBooks and iPads from China to Vietnam. This should happen because of the ongoing trade war between the aforementioned PRC and the United States.

Apple has been striving for a kind of geographical diversity in the field of production of its products for a long time. For example, Apple's AirPods and AirPods Pro are already produced mainly in Vietnam, and in the past we could already come across several reports discussing the expansion of iPhone production in this country. As it seems, the transition to other countries is now inevitable and it is only a matter of time.

The iPad Pro will likely receive support for 5G networks

In recent months, there have been many rumors about the arrival of an improved iPad Pro. Above all, it should boast a revolutionary mini-LED display, thanks to which it will offer significantly better quality. According to the latest information, this will not be the only news. DigiTimes magazine, which allegedly has news from reliable sources, has now been heard. The iPad Pro should offer mmWave support next year, making it compatible with advanced 5G networks.

But when will we see the presentation or launch of the new iPad Pro? Of course, this is unclear in the current situation and there is no exact date. However, several sources agree that the production of these pieces will begin in the last quarter of this year. Subsequently, the professional apple tablet could arrive on store shelves in the first half of next year.

Apple is planning a MacBook with both Intel and Apple Silicon for next year

We will finish today's summary with another interesting speculation, which will also follow up on our yesterday's article. We informed you that next year we could expect redesigned 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pros, which will be powered by Apple chips from the Apple Silicon family. This information came from a renowned analyst named Ming-Chi Kuo. A fairly accurate leaker known as L0vetodream reacted to the whole situation today, and he comes with a very interesting message.

M1 revolutionary chip:

According to him, the redesign should not only concern Macs with Apple Silicon. So it is obvious at first glance that this statement refers to the arrival of Apple laptops, which will still be powered by a processor from Intel. The Californian giant is probably going to sell MacBooks in two branches, when it will only depend on the individual apple users and their needs, whether they choose the "Intel classic" or the ARM future. A relatively large number of users need to work with the Windows operating system on their Macs on a daily basis, which for the time being cannot be run on Apple Silicon. The entire transition to its own chips should take Apple two years.
