To be honest, I've never liked zombie games. Killing undead enemies that keep coming, wanting to kill you and looking ugly, I didn't really like it. However, Brainsss is a game with a different concept. And very funny.
You will get into the role of zombies and go against people. What a surprise, right? However, you will not kill them, but try to infect them and get them on your side. As we all know, people are usually aggressive if someone wants to hurt them. Even in the game, he defends himself against infection. Sometimes they are stronger and there are more of them, so some zombies will die. But the zombies don't count the victims, so the infection of people continues. However, they run away, bringing shooting reinforcements and much more.
The control of the zombies is your finger. Wherever you point it on the screen, it will run and try to infect as many people as possible. If you infect a lot of them, your "anger" (rage meter) will rise, and when filled and then clicked, the zombies will speed up and become more active in infecting people. This will come in handy over time because you won't just be infecting ordinary people. There will also be scientists who run fast, policemen who will shoot at you, as well as soldiers who are even stronger. You will even face machine guns.
You get stars for each level. If you infect all mortals within a certain time, or if you prevent them from escaping. You will definitely not be bored. Two game modes await you. The first one is normal and you won't have to worry about anything other than infecting people. The second mode is strategic. In the strategy, you will not move the zombies move by move, like a grandpa in a chess game, but you will control them all individually in real time. Depending on how many you mark with your finger, a group will be formed and it will be independent of the movement of others. This way you can drive some people from one alley to another, where a much larger group of zombies will be waiting. It's more challenging, the levels are exactly the same as in normal mode, the game is less dynamic, but the fun is still there. Unfortunately, the strategy mode is more difficult to play on the iPhone display.
As you progress through the game, you earn points that you can use to unlock game bonuses and zombie main characters. Game bonuses always guarantee some improvement for all zombies at one level, and the main character can have different characteristics (better attack, more health, etc.).
Brainsss is an amazing game, unfortunately a few details spoil it a bit. There is only one camera and not very good. You look at the zombies as if from a helicopter and you can zoom in and out. Two fingers are used to move the game screen, but it is not very pleasant. You have to hold your fingers while moving or the scene will move back to the zombies. The graphics are worse than it seems at first glance when you zoom in on the characters. iCloud synchronization came in the update, but after trying it, the progress on the iPhone or iPad was always deleted. Hopefully the next update will fix everything. Despite these shortcomings, however, the gameplay does not suffer, which is exceptional. The game time is very long due to the large number of levels. Plus, there's always a second mode. The game soundtrack is not complex music, but nice and simple songs to accompany the effects of the game. The bonus is occasional messages from people and zombies. The game is iOS universal and for 22 crowns it will offer you a huge portion of fun. Feel free to put all the ills of the game behind you and come and infect a few people, zombies are waiting.
