Lukáš Čambala Apple has released a new version of its Boot Camp tool for installing other operating systems, which brings support for Microsoft's new system - Windows 10. Boot Camp 6 will ensure that you can dual-boot both OS X and Windows 10 on an Intel-based Mac.
As part of the new Boot Camp 6, Apple has made some hardware components available under Windows 10, such as Thunderbolt, USB-C, Apple keyboards, mice and others.
For the time being, Windows 10 support is only available for some Mac computers that are equipped with the latest available OS X and the latest Boot Camp 6 application. The program will then take care of all the necessary drivers for the proper functioning of the system. Boot Camp then requires an authentic copy of Windows, which you can purchase on the Microsoft website as an ISO image or as a USB stick.
I still don't see support for iMac Late2011, I upgraded windows 8.1 normally in bootcamp and it runs without any problems, they are faster than eights. The only thing that didn't work were the upper keys for sound, backlight, etc... but after reinstalling the 5-bit drivers for bootcamp, everything works...
Let's see if they will prepare six drivers for older Macs as well.
you're out of luck, Win10 drivers are only for Macs from 2012 and newer
iMac Late 2011 is not supported. iMac is only supported from Late 2012 onwards. (Thanks to Apple for not supporting models made before 2012.)
well, the interesting thing is that it works fine for me :-) under 10k in bootcamp, I have an apple keyboard with all functional keys, magic mouse, automatic correction of the iMac jack... all interfaces including thunderbllt... well, I don't know, they cut this, how to say it "software-wise" :- )
Does anyone have a direct link to the new boot camp drivers? I have a clean installation of tens on the mac, but the old boot capm drivers could not be installed through them. So I have no way to update there. Thanks
Well, it's interesting, but I couldn't find the download link for the drivers themselves. However, try to follow the instructions, you will 100% create a flash where the drivers will be. Then it is enough to do what is needed under win.

Thank you - yes, that's what I thought too, to have the entire installer generated and the drivers there in a separate directory. However, so far the macbook has not even offered to install the new boot camp drivers. That is, unless they were part of the whole last Yosemite update, but I don't think so.
You have to approach Apple as a computer for idiots. I myself am glad that I have been an idiot for 6 years and I am proud of it :-)
What I'm just trying to say is that Apple tries to do a lot of things for the user and it seems to me that of all the systems I have and manage it does it best (especially for people who don't understand it) and that way they get rid of the problem with all the hassles regarding administration and they can focus mainly on work/play.
In any case, the fact is that I have convinced myself that there are people who are comfortable with something else, and so I also understood certain "illogicalities" in other OSes.
