The fighter Jiří Procházka became the new face of the brokerage company XTB

Press Release: Jiří Procházka, one of the best MMA fighters today, has become the new global ambassador of XTB. The new campaign of the leading global broker will focus on building the awareness of Czechs about investments and will support the growth of the client base.

Cooperation with Jiří Procházka fits into the long-term strategy of XTB. For a long time, it has been establishing partnerships with leading figures in the sports environment, led by the world-famous football coach José Mourinho, who became the main face of its global campaign last year. This year it was also joined by the former Polish UFC champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk.

"Jiří Procházka is one of the biggest stars of contemporary Czech sport, and above all he is a top professional with a great character. We are happy that he is the one who will become the face of our company not only in the Czech Republic but also around the world." says David Šnajdr, director of the Czech branch of XTB. "We are also happy to support Jiří in this way on his journey to the UFC light heavyweight title."

In cooperation with Jiří Procházka, the brokerage company plans to follow up on its record-breaking successful start to the year. In the first quarter, it managed to achieve a significant increase in the number of clients, whose base already consists of almost half a million investors. Compared to the same period last year, net profit also rose by 179% to 54,4 million euros.

"With this distinctive and at the same time trustworthy ambassador, we want to bring investing and trading closer to a wider target group. We will therefore focus our communication on spreading awareness about investing and educating Czech society, which is now even more important than ever due to the complex economic situation." adds Šnajdr.

Jiří Procházka is one of the leading figures in combat sports. He already made a name for himself in the professional Japanese organization Rizin, where he won eleven out of a total of twelve matches. With these results, he earned a contract in the most prestigious American organization, the UFC, where he is now preparing for his ultimate duel for the light heavyweight world title. In the UFC's main event of the evening, he will face Brazilian matador Glover Teixeira on June 11 in Singapore.
