Filip Novotny One of the best games of all time, the horror shooter BioShock, arrived on the App Store on Wednesday night. Even iPhone and iPad owners will be able to enjoy the exciting journey through the underwater world of Rapture.
Released seven years ago by 2K Games, BioShock was named the best game of the year in 2007 by a number of leading game servers. It has become a true classic in both computer gaming and last-generation consoles, which is why the release of the version for mobile phones and tablets was awaited with great enthusiasm.

The port to portable devices was handled by the Chinese branch of the 2K Games studio, which managed to transfer the challenging shooter to the field of touch control. However, only owners of newer devices will be able to try it. Bioshock can run iPad Air, iPad mini 2nd generation, iPad 4th generation, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c and iPhone 5.
The developers have a second unpleasant news in store. It really has a premium price of 13,99 euros (CZK 390). Although this is an excellent game, which is really rare in the App Store, we can play it on Mac to acquire for 7,99 euros. If we were to wait for the discount period, the price could drop even more. In such cases, Bioshock for Mac is also available for 3,99 euros.

Is CZK 390 too much for the owner of an Apple device? You must be kidding right? I think the price fully corresponds.
I don't agree, I have it on a Mac for under €5 and the fact that it's not graphically cut in any way, it's a completely different experience...
A quality PORT for me is the recently released Monster Hunter Unite, which is really good on the iPad, this is just a money squeezer.
In addition, on Mac it's hard to play with DualShock 4, the only thing left here is terrible control or to buy some "mega quality" plug-in controller for €100.

It's great that even a game like this has made it to a mobile device, but it's quite cut down compared to the xbox 360, which is prehistorically a piece of hw.. so if I'd sit on my ass, it's like no... what's the matter controls, when I have to hit the joystick controls somewhere on the screen and in the heat of the fight I gasp because I squeeze half a centimeter to the side... I didn't try, but I think I won't spoil the original memory when I played it on PC.
And I kept wondering how it is possible for someone's iPhone to last only a few hours on a charge... well, I stop wondering when playing games like this.. ;)
What is the size after installation? Otherwise, I miss this information quite a bit in the appstore :)
Unfortunately, I got caught and accidentally bought it for the iPad mini. I have the MFI controller and was really looking forward to it. Of course it doesn't work. I personally don't understand why. Graphically, it is no longer such a miracle, and many iOS games are technically much higher, not to mention that the Unreal engine runs beautifully smoothly even on the iPad 2. I don't know why, but I somehow remember economic lessons about planned product obsolescence.
