Adam Kos The Find It feature helps you locate your iPhone if it's lost or stolen and prevents anyone else from activating and using it. On the web, you can use the Find function within iCloud, on iPhones you need to install the free app. Find allows you to locate your Apple devices and share the location with friends and family. Among the important functions is the display on the map of the lost iPhone, but also of the iPad, Apple Watch, Mac computer or AirPods headphones. In addition, you can find devices even if they are not connected to the Internet. You can play a sound on the devices to help them find them, put them into lost device mode, or wipe them remotely. You can then share your location with friends and family in the People panel.

Adding an iPhone to Find My
To locate your lost iPhone in the Find My app, you need to link it to your Apple ID, as follows:
- Go to Settings -> [your name] -> Find.
- If prompted to log in, enter your Apple ID. If you don't have an Apple ID yet, tap "Don't have or forgot an Apple ID?" and then follow the instructions.
- Click on Find iPhone and then turn on choice Find iPhone.
- Alternatively, activate other options that you want to use:
- Network Find or Find offline devices: If your device is offline (not connected to Wi-Fi or a mobile network), Find My can locate it using the Find My network.
- Send last location: When the device's battery power drops below a critical level, the device automatically sends its location to Apple.
Display device location
- Run the application Find.
- Click on the panel Device.
- choose Facility Name, whose location you want to find out.
- If it is possible to locate the device, then the object appears on the map, so you can immediately see where it is.
- If the device cannot be located, so you will see the name of the device Location not detected.
- You can turn on the option in the Notifications section Report a find. Once the location of the device is detected, you will receive a notification.
- In the case of device localization, a menu can be selected Navigate. You will be redirected to the Maps application and navigated to the location where the device is located.
Find your location or play a sound on your friend's device
If your friend loses their device, they can locate it or play the audio on the page icloud.com/find, where they must first sign in with their Apple ID and password. If you have family sharing set up, you can find the location of another family member's lost device in the Find It app.
