He wanted a BelayCords project on Kickstarter earn just a few thousand dollars. In the end, it was possible to collect over 400 for the first double-sided Lightning cable for iPhones and iPads, and the stylish cable went into mass production. Now, BelayCords can easily become one of the best Lightning cables available.
Stacks of papers have already been described about the Lightning cables (even the previous 30-pin ones) that Apple supplies to its mobile devices, and usually they were not very flattering notes. Most users who have been using iPhones and iPads for a long time have probably encountered the fact that their cable has become loose after a while. It stopped charging or more often just fell apart.
This is also why there is a relatively large market for cables from third-party manufacturers, as many no longer want to rely on the original Lightning cables from Apple. Also new to this market are BelayCords, which have everything that the Apple ones don't.
First, BelayCords are many times more durable than Apple cables. They are not made of white rubber, which both gets dirty quickly and above all cracks. The materials used in BelayCords are supposed to be of such high quality and durability that the manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty on its cables. The exterior was inspired by climbing ropes, which in most cases will ensure that the cable does not get tangled or broken.
BelayCords are 1,2 meters long and in practice their flexibility and flexibility is really handy. When you need to quickly take the charger out of your bag, you don't have to untangle the cable first, but you usually have it ready to use right away. Or at least with less effort when untangling than we know from classic "white" cables.
Second, BelayCords solves the age-old problem with any USB cables we use - that we have to plug them into the port the right way round. BelayCords has teamed up with the holder of the double-sided USB patent to bring you the first ever iPhone cable that has double-sided USB. So you can plug it into the computer from any side and you will always succeed. This is a feature that makes coexistence with the cable as easy as possible for every user.
At the same time, BelayCords have received official certification from Apple, so you don't have to worry about having a problem charging or synchronizing your devices.
And third, BelayCords aren't just another boring cord to add to your collection. On the contrary, you can choose from seven very fresh and playful color combinations that suit your taste and style. In addition, you will also get a handy magnetic strap in the package, with which you can easily tame the more than one meter cable and store it in your pocket.
Whether BelayCords really last longer than original cables from Apple will be revealed by several months of testing. However, a few weeks have already shown us the indisputable advantages of these cables, and if I had to bet personally, they will definitely last longer than the white cables from the Cupertino engineers. Double-sided USB, the first ever for an iPhone cable, great flexibility and also a distinctive design make BelayCords a really attractive accessory.
In the Czech Republic, you can buy BelayCords cables in seven color variants in our first crowdfunding e-shop, CoolKick.cz za 810 crowns. In addition, there is not only a Lightning version, but also a MicroUSB for owners of Android devices and other products.
The charger for my Macbook was sent to me a week ago. I bought it about 25 months ago (new) and now the cable has been chewed right by the magsafe connector. They say it can't be fixed. At the same time, I hardly travel anywhere and I don't carry the transformer, and most of the time everything lies on the table and doesn't move. I don't understand what it's made of :(
If you don't carry it anywhere and most of the time you don't even move it, then I really don't understand. I have never had a cable come off and the first transformer for the Macbook has been serving me for eight years. And there has really been enough travel.
I had it sent for these cases https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/lightning-magsafe-saver-protects-your-cables
It doesn't seem like a very clever solution to me. The cable will just get damaged after that. :-) However, the original cable has never been damaged anywhere, and I wind it up, unwind it and move it several times a day and every day. I don't understand what these people are doing.
It is not made of hard plastic, so it does not break "and beyond", but gradually bends
Just like with the magsafe charger, if you use clamps for winding, the cable suffers a lot there.
Otherwise, of course, it depends a lot on how you roll and what you carry.
The eyelets on the winding almost fell off (almost broke), because I tightened them too much. So now I don't use them anymore. I kind of twist it around, but not by force, just like when you wrap a climbing transformer around these wires. It's pretty dry. And now the wife usually puts it somewhere in a bag or purse and carries it to and from work, at home it alternates between two laptops.
Maybe the lightning saver won't be bad, but you can't tell from the video what its properties are and how it behaves when bent.
the cable itself is listed... even on it there was already a voice saying that it is not certified and that it may not work correctly... otherwise you can agree with the review
I don't understand that much... We've been using MacBooks, iPhones, iPads and iPods at home for years, we drag cables and chargers around in our pockets, bags, etc. and none of them have ever been damaged... I just keep reading about it somewhere on the web... I can't imagine what people do with it.
I envy you, I don't run cables anywhere, and after two years the plastic on the macbook simply crumbled to dust and the wires peeked out, the same with the iPhone, even though it was used more on the go. The nieces changed the cable 3 times, it just stopped charging, but it wasn't the charger... :-/
Apple fans do such nonsense? Nokia has had wireless charging for several years!!!!!!!
And then you woke up with your hand in the potty, see? I don't know a single Nokia who isn't always looking for a charger. Classic, wired. :-)
By the way - you haven't heard of wireless iPhone charging either, have you? :-)
I don't like Kazimír radost, but probably to myself, but I've had such a cable for a couple of years, I made it on my knee...
For me personally, complete uselessness. I have the same cables, and I pull them every day. I only hear about breakdowns and cracking from acquaintances. For iPhone and iPad cables, I bought something like this: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=181632811267&globalID=EBAY-US it costs a couple of bucks and I can even fit a 5W charger in there along with the individual cables. Similarly, I also have a case for the cable from Mac.
In my opinion, original Apple cables are of sufficient quality, it's just a matter of not overdoing them...
I can't agree... I don't know what is meant by "hunting", if regular use to charge the device can also be included in "hunting"... but while the first cable to the iPad 1, which I dragged with me every day, has lasted me almost in its original condition until today... the so-called Lightning the cable I received for the iPad mini actually fell apart after less than three years of use... it probably depends on how much you use the thing...
You see, I guess I'm just lucky. As far as I know, most people carry the cable in such a way that they wrap it around the device, in the best case around the adapter, and throw it in their bags, or worse – in their pockets...
