One such game for 2021 was Chicory: A Colorful Tale, at first glance a simple game about a cartoon dog, but with continued play it turns into a story about a character that many of us can relate to.

The main hero of the game is a nameless dog. He works as a janitor who gets involved in an unusual event. Chicory, the chosen painter, works in the game world, using her magic brush to paint the world. And it is this powerful tool that appears forgotten in the house that the main character manages. So she has to set out on a journey to represent the painter and breathe the right colors into the world. They are almost everything in the game. You use them not only for coloring, but also for various markings and solving logic puzzles.
However, Chicory: A Colorful Tale is not just a simple fairy tale. The sufferings of the painter Chicory and the protagonist are related to what we all experience. The game takes a colorful look at encountering doubts about one's abilities, both from oneself and from others. However, along the way, the developers will show you that none of us can be too hard on each other.
