Many players need a good challenge to enjoy a game. Proof of this is the continuing popularity of the roguelike genre, where every death is a ticket to the beginning of the game, or the so-called soul-liks, or games inspired by the legendary games of the Dark Souls series. These inspire a number of games from smaller developers, who often convert entire nerve-wracking, difficult battles with demons into two dimensions. The new Watcher Chronicles takes a similar approach to the genre.

You will notice a big difference from the Dark Souls series in Watcher Chronicles at first glance. Instead of dark, fog-shrouded medieval buildings, painted, colorful environments await you, which, however, offer no less demanding enemies. With your hero, you will defeat demonic enemies in purgatory itself, which the army from hell is trying to take over. Together with other lost souls, you will have to join forces and deal with the threat in your own way.

At the same time, the game features a characteristic challenging combat system in which you conduct a careful dance with your enemies. In Watcher Chronicles, there are not even two dozen bosses with whom you will compete even with the help of a complex RPG system. However, if Watcher Chronicles is too much of a challenge for you, you can invite another player to join you in co-op mode.
