Creditas Bank including its Richee division announced the official launch of Apple Pay payment support. Their clients who own an iPhone 6 or later can add payment cards to their phones and start paying more securely and quickly.

Payments are also supported on other devices, including the Apple Watch, and of course also on the iPad and Mac, where Apple Pay can be used as a payment method in online stores. In order to start paying with Apple Pay using Banka Creditas and Richee cards, you have a choice of two ways to activate the service.

Through the Richee app:

  • If you've already used the Richee app, open it.
  • In the My Richee section, go to the Cards tab.
  • Click on a specific tab and go to its Detail.
  • Below your financial balance, you'll see an Add to Apple Wallet button.
  • Press it, the card will be verified for Apple Pay in the background.
  • Agree to the terms and conditions and then confirm the addition of the card in the Wallet application.

Directly via Wallet:

  • Click the + button in the upper right corner to activate the camera.
  • Point the camera at the front of the selected payment card.
  • Confirm the bank terms.
  • Verify your identity with a one-time password.

If you use an Apple Watch, you have the option to synchronize your card with them as well. You do so in the Apple Watch application on your iPhone, more precisely in the section Wallet and Apple Pay. Then enter the CVC2 code from the back of the card and confirm the terms of use of the service. In this way, your next payments will be even faster, because you only put your hand with the watch to the terminal.
