A big part of the Super Bowl, the finals of the National Football League, is its advertising part. Apple did not contribute with its spot this year, but its name appeared in the advertisement, whose main actors were U2, (Product) RED and Bank of America. U2 made it possible to download their new song for free from iTunes for 24 hours invisible and Bank of America has pledged to donate $1 to the (Product) RED Foundation for every download.

The foundation was founded in 2006 by Bono (lead singer of U2) and activist Bobby Shriver as a means of raising money to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa. Since then, Apple has contributed more than 65 million dollars. Other companies such as Nike, Starbucks, American Express and Converse are also associated with the campaign. In total, Product (RED) has already helped with an amount exceeding 200 million dollars.

Of this, 3 million was raised through the Bank of America event, a new addition to the campaign's partners. The first million downloads were achieved within an hour after the presentation of the ad.

Composition invisible is the first new material for the 2009 album "No Line on The Horizon". It is not meant to be the first single from the new album, but rather a reminder that U2 "still exist". It is available for download here, but no longer for free, with all proceeds going to the Global Fund to Fight Cancer.
