A cracked screen is a fairly common "defect" on an iPhone. Although Apple tries to make displays as comfortable as possible, when such a large glass surface falls to the ground, it does not always survive unscathed. But then your next steps may be important: what to do with a broken iPhone screen?
The good news is that, unlike other components, the display in iPhones is still relatively easy to replace, and most repair shops will do it. The problem, however, is that if you do not go to an authorized service center with a cracked display, in the vast majority of cases you will lose the warranty.
If such a repair is carried out by a technician in an unauthorized service, you as the owner of the iPhone lose the warranty and at the same time the opportunity to bring the damaged phone to an authorized service next time.
Proto iOpravna authorized service center, specializing in Apple products, points out the program of authorized replacement of displays in iPhones, which does not affect the warranty. iOpravna arranges an authorized replacement of the display directly at the manufacturer, so you are guaranteed both the highest quality service and original parts at the same time.
These two aspects of service intervention may not be guaranteed in unauthorized services. In addition, iOpravna offers authorized display replacement at an affordable price. The display for iPhone 5, 5S, 6 and 6S will be replaced for 4 crowns, for iPhone 032 Plus and 6S Plus for 6 crowns. The usual repair time is 5 to 8 working days, because the service is not carried out in the territory of the Czech Republic.
At the same time, iOpravna draws attention to the so-called Exchange program, which comes into play in the event that your iPhone is already irretrievably damaged, for example after being hit by liquid or if you have a bent frame. In such a moment, iOpravna will offer you a paid replacement piece by piece, even outside the normal warranty period.
As part of the Exchange program, you can get a new iPhone 6 and 6S for 9 crowns, a new iPhone 675 Plus and 6S Plus for 6 crowns, and an iPhone SE, 10S, 745 or 5C for 5 crowns.
That's bullshit. By replacing or repairing anything in an unauthorized service, you will not lose the legal warranty, the only thing you can lose is the above-standard warranty (for example, 3-year or on-site if it has its own conditions) and possibly also the _post-warranty_ service in the authorized service.
The warranty only does not cover defects that were caused by unprofessional intervention. But this does not mean that "unprofessional intervention" is responsible for all other defects. It is still up to the seller (or auto service) to prove that the defect was caused by unprofessional repair.
In other words, if I order a slide from China, I will replace it at home using a pickaxe and a kitchen knife, so this is no reason not to complain about a malfunctioning button or plate later - of course, if I didn't destroy it myself during the repair.
And this ad is particularly funny for the slide, because the slide does not change the local services at all, but I think they send the phone to Holland. So everyone who needs a phone will have the glass repaired where they will do it in a few hours and for a few crowns, and not at an authorized service center, which won't even do it themselves while waiting.
If you want good PR, get a stock of lenses from Apple and the right to change them, and don't lie here with falsehoods about the warranty.
Maybe it wouldn't hurt to read the warranty terms before you write something like this, if I quote:
This warranty does not cover: (f) damage caused by service (including updates and upgrades) performed by a person who is not an Apple representative or an Apple-authorized service provider ("Authorized Service Provider");
Am I writing something else?
Does anyone have experience with protective tempered glass? I am thinking of buying a protective glass from ultraglass for the SE - people on fb and the website write that they are satisfied. For example, here is such a brief excerpt, does anyone know anything more about it?

Order it on Aliexpress for a dollar. It's exactly the same as what you buy here for 300 and more. Tested on iP 5s and 6
I have no experience with ordering from abroad. I'm more interested in whether it will protect something?
It reliably protects against scratches, it's a matter of luck against scratches. My friend has already broken two glasses (always a fall), I don't know if the display would have been damaged otherwise, but maybe it is.
Some foils have a lifetime warranty against breakage (if it falls on the ground and breaks, they will replace it for free), but it's not for a dollar ;)
Thank you both, I will try to order this one: https://www.facebook.com/ultraglasscz/ , the reviews on the page look credible, then I'll write how satisfied I am :)
Tried on iPad. I fell about a meter from the glass onto the stone. The cover glass cracked and the display was ok.
I can definitely recommend it. Personally tested. Dropping the display straight onto stone and glass worked. Otherwise, after trying out somewhere for different money, I can confirm the advice of "JaTyOn", Aliexpress will do the same service for 1-2 € as Alza et al for 300-400 CZK.
I use contour from ZAGG invisible shield. It is more expensive, but I already have about 10. It has a lifetime warranty. If you break it, you will get a new glass for the broken glass and you only pay postage, the advantage is that the contour model also protects the curved edges and it is not at all visible that there is any protection on the phone, the disadvantage may be the requirement for skill during application, it takes practice and a clean environment.
So I ordered the UltraGlass, they also currently offer a lifetime warranty for just the cost of shipping, which is great. They are already processing the order today, so hopefully he will be home tomorrow and we'll see.
It will probably be direct competition, so it will definitely be of high quality, and is it also "edge to edge" across the entire surface?
It should arrive today, I'm expecting a postman, so we'll see.
So far I am satisfied, it requires care when gluing, at first I cleaned the display and put the glass down, but I didn't hit it too hard, luckily it didn't stick in any way yet, so I leveled the glass from the sides with my fingernails according to the speakers and corners and tapped in the middle
glasses. Then it gradually spread in a strange way, like when water spills under a glass and
maintains that it cannot even be recognized. And it's more pleasant to the touch than the display!
So I have no regrets!
iPhone 6 after falling to the ground, the protective glass lasted, but the display underneath it cracked ;-) Such a practical experience :-)
So far I'm satisfied, it takes care when gluing, but sit down https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/ae81261d020602bc24e82bfed0997d2adfb5195c9eee08d7a1bcbc0c65adb84e.jpg https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/205b8375495f49255147f0928befd777293280b42c0a494aa659df1ce5210623.jpg https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/fb4c35c5af3b3c32f5f542d072f6db91f4a1bddf615543661ae465c36d64a10b.jpg she aligned the glass from the sides according to the speakers and corners and tapped the center of the glass. Then it spread so strangely gradually like water under glass and holds that it is not even recognizable. And it's more pleasant to the touch than the display! So I have no regrets!
It looks good! And it's functional, that's the main thing. ?
I can definitely recommend the ITS as V Prze service, the best prices, willingness, and speed seem absolutely perfect to me. I am extremely satisfied with them.
Twl that's a bargain :-O iPhone 6 for CZK 4.032 :-D Applestore in Dresden or Munich (it doesn't really matter) while you wait (approx. 2 hours) exchange for 110 Euros ;-) If you still have a warranty , so exchange piece for piece (experience from Dresden) for 130,- Euro ;-)
Well, if you add transport from Prague to that price, it will come out to be almost the same, right?
So if you can't get there cheaper than CZK 1.000 ;-) and you don't mind being without an iPhone for a week, then it's probably "almost" :-D
