The developer team of The Iconfactory pleased all fans of the game Astronaut, who are also iPad owners. The little astronaut flying through space, which until now was only available for the iPhone, was also released in a version for the apple tablet. The most attractive new feature is that both devices can be paired and thus control Astronut on the iPad using the iPhone…

Astronut has been in the App Store since the end of 2010 (we reviewed the game here) and although it saw virtually no updates during its era, it certainly found its supporters. For example, this game, where you fly through space with a stick figure in a spacesuit and try to avoid various enemy creatures, has not completely tired of me even after two years, so it still has a place on my iPhone.

That's why I was delighted now that the developers have released Astronut for iPad. Although it is true that the game costs less than two euros, it does not offer anything new compared to the iPhone version, but it is trying to lure players to something else - controlling the game with an iPhone. If you have Astronaut on both devices, you can simply pair them, and while the endless universe runs before your eyes on the iPad, the iPhone turns into a control device with which you control your astronaut. As Astronut for iPad is a new and paid app, the iPhone version is now free to download.

No new game can do without support for the Retina display of the new iPad, so you can enjoy great graphics in Astronut too. Also on the iPad, 24 different levels divided into six sectors await you and 40 achievements that you can get while playing. You can then compare your results with players from all over the world via Game Center.
