We are still some Friday away from the introduction of new Apple phones. Despite this, various information about what kind of news we should roughly expect appears on the Internet quite regularly, either in the form of various leaks, information from the supply chain or analysts' forecasts. The latest information now comes from arguably the most respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who focused primarily on changes within the supply chain in his latest letter to investors. Thanks to this, we were able to learn quite interesting information about the wide-angle lens of the upcoming iPhone 13.

Several independent sources claim that the new iPhone 13 will bring great news. However, according to Kuo's information, this scenario will not take place in the case of the mentioned wide-angle lens, because Apple is going to bet on the same module that we can find in last year's iPhone 12. Specifically, we should expect an apple phone with a 7P wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/1.6. The iPhone 13 Pro Max model will see at least a partial improvement, which should offer an aperture of f/1.5. In the case of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, the value was f/1.6.

The Chinese company Sunny Optical should take care of the production of the wide-angle lenses themselves, and their mass production should start at the beginning of May. Despite the fact that improvements will not arrive in the case of the mentioned lens, we still have something to look forward to. There is quite a lot of talk about the implementation of an improved ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/1.8 in all versions of the iPhone 13, while the iPhone 12 only offered an aperture of f/2.4. Other well-informed sources confirm the use of better sensors. According to Ross Young, all three lenses should get just that larger sensor, thanks to which they would iPhone 13 it was able to absorb more of the world and thus take care of significantly better quality images.
