According to the latest news, quite a few new features will be integrated into iCloud storage in the near future. We will probably find out everything for sure at the upcoming event WWDC 2012, but photo sharing seems like a logical step to take advantage of iCloud's potential.

This new service should allow you to upload a set of photos to iCloud, share them with other users and add comments to them. Currently, users only have the option to sync photos between their devices using the Photo Stream feature, but it does not allow them to be shared.

Today, if a user wants to share their images using Apple software, they have to use iPhoto, which is unfortunately charged. Sharing with this app is done by feature Diaries, by generating a unique URL. Just paste it into the address bar of your web browser.

For now, there are two ways to get photos into iCloud. While Photo Stream is natively supported by all iOS 5 devices (but without sharing), iPhoto does offer sharing, but it's not a pre-installed app. As it is provided to developers API for generating URLs of files uploaded to iCloud, a solution in this direction can be assumed. However, now we just have to wait and see what Apple will show on June 11. Are you looking forward too?
