Ondrej Holzman Apple today presented not only the new 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and a cheaper variant of the 5K iMac, but quietly appeared in his shop as well Lightning Dock for iPhone. It is a universal piece of accessory to which you can connect any iPhone with a Lightning connector. However, there is one catch: Apple decided to sell it for almost 1 crowns.
The history of the docks that Apple has sold for its iPhones is quite rich, and obviously in Cupertino they still do not want to give up this type of accessory. You can also plug a 3,5mm jack into the Lightning dock next to the cable, so when you have your iPhone in the dock, you can have it connected to a hi-fi set, for example.
However, the design of the dock is not dazzling at all. It is a miniature piece of white plastic, and at first glance it is not even clear how stable this stand will be when you put, for example, the largest iPhone 6 Plus in it. In addition, Apple charges 1 crowns for its latest accessories, which is really too much. Third party companies often offer at least better made products with better materials.

I would rather have a dock where the connector is somehow modified so that the phone can be pulled out with one hand. If it doesn't have a 2 kg stand, you still have to hold it with the other hand, which is a spring :D
The production price will be around 100 CZK, I would expect... no, Apple.

Just because I already paid a big price for their devices, they could at least have normal prices for accessories. The hardest mockery is the cables. They are out of stock in 4 months and cost several times more than the competition.
I use a lightning cable to charge my iPhone in the car every day, I plug/unplug it several times a day and after more than a year it's still fine. The non-original cable was KO in a month. So if two do the same thing, IT IS NOT THE SAME! Even if it seems that way. Premium products should have premium prices. For a premium car, servicing also costs twice as much as a Škoda, and anyone who doesn't have a service can't buy a car, even if they somehow bump up the purchase price...

Since I bought a new car (cash), I only visited their authorized service center with it once and that was the last time. (Claim of cracked front glass not recognized and replacement 1€) immediately at the first auto glass, we gave a price of 500€ and the next day I came to pick up the car. I had to make an order at an authorized service center and wait.
At car dealers, you are only an interesting client if you go to buy a car, where they promise you mountains and mines. You are just an annoying mosquito when you complain.
So this cannot be compared with the automotive industry!!! When it comes to cars, China is just as "low-quality" as an overhaul at an authorized service center.

I've had bad experiences with it when connecting stronger audio cables, take the case off. Using the dock only with the case removed is quite impractical :)
