Dan Pražák Together with the launch pre-order on the iPhone XR, Apple launched this morning sell new USB-C cable with magnetic charger for Apple Watch. This is the first ever official solution that allows you to charge an Apple watch through a source with a USB-C port.
The new cable is primarily aimed at users who want to charge the Apple Watch via a MacBook, MacBook Pro or the adapters included with them. However, the downside is that Apple started selling only the shortest possible variant, 30 centimeters long. Older cables with classic USB-A are still available in lengths of one and two meters.
Apple charges 890 crowns for the new accessory. After all, this is the same price as in the case of a 0,3m and 1m cable with USB-A. Shipping is free and should be processed within one business day. The new cable will be available in Apple Stores and authorized resellers within the next week.
