Dan Pražák Apple started selling the new 10,2-inch iPad today. The tablet was originally supposed to go on sale next week on Monday, September 30, but following the earlier release of iPadOS 13, it went on sale a few days early. In the Czech Republic, however, we will have to wait until mid-October for the news.
The new iPad of the 7th generation had its premiere at the Apple Keynote in September, but was slightly forgotten alongside the new iPhone 11 and Apple Watch Series 4. Apple now reminds of its existence by putting the tablet on sale five days earlier. The company is starting to send pre-ordered pieces starting today. In Apple Stores and authorized dealers, the novelty will be available this week.
Although it is already possible to order the new iPad on the Czech mutation of the Apple website, it will arrive to customers only later. Availability is currently set for October 15-18. So it seems that the domestic market is not one of those where sales start ahead of schedule. In any case, the tablet can currently be pre-ordered also at authorized retailers. For example Mobile Emergency states the date of the start of sales as early as September 30 and adds a bonus worth CZK 1 to the device, which can be redeemed during the subsequent sale of one of the older phones, tablets, etc. - the bonus is added to the purchase price.
