Apple has started selling the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID

It's been a few months since we saw the introduction of the brand new and redesigned 24″ iMac with the M1 chip. Initially, this new Apple computer earned a wave of criticism, but in the end it turned out to be a great device that won the hearts of many users, including mine. In addition to the redesign of the iMac itself, the accessories such as the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad have also been redesigned. In particular, we received seven colors that correspond to the color of the iMac itself, the Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad also received rounded corners and some buttons, the keyboard can then have a Touch ID fingerprint reader.

Until now, you could only get the new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID exclusively when you bought a new iMac with M1. This means that if you wanted to buy a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID separately, you couldn't, because only the one without Touch ID was available, and without a numeric keypad. It was clear that sooner or later the Apple company would start selling the new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and the good news is that we finally got it. So if you've been waiting for the arrival of the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and wanted to buy it, you finally can. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter here - for now, you can still only buy the silver version and you can forget about the colored ones.

On the other hand, I will please you with the fact that in the case of the Magic Keyboard, you can reach for three versions right away. You can get the cheapest one for 2 crowns and it is a version without numbers and without Touch ID, which has been available for a long time. The second version, for which you pay 999 crowns, then offers Touch ID, but without the numerical part. And if you're looking for the ultimate Magic Keyboard, with which you get both Touch ID and a numeric keypad, then you have to prepare a dizzying 4 crowns. The amounts are really high, but Touch ID can be considered the biggest change in the new generation Magic Keyboard, so it is clear that it will find its buyers. However, it is necessary to mention that you can only use Touch ID on Macs and MacBooks that have an M490 chip. If you own an older Apple computer with an Intel processor, you can give Touch ID a miss with the new Magic Keyboard.
