If you watched Apple's WWDC in June, you certainly didn't miss the introduction of the new puffy iMac Pro. However, we had to wait a good half a year for the most powerful Mac ever. Fortunately, the wait is already over. Apple updated its website on Tuesday to reveal that the iMac Pro will go on sale on December 14th. That's why we've been eagerly watching the website since midnight, waiting for the prices for the Czech Republic to appear on them. However, we didn't get to see that until around half past five in the afternoon.
So if you're eyeing an iMac Pro, prepare yourself a decent package. The basic version with an 8-core Intel Xeon W processor and a 1TB SSD will cost you exactly 139 CZK. Apple will deliver this configuration to you within one to two weeks. You will also run out of an iMac with ten cores just as quickly, but Apple already charges CZK 990 for it.
Models with 14 and 18 cores will then be delivered by Apple in 6 to 8 weeks, and you will also pay a substantial extra for them. A 191-core iMac will cost you exactly 190 CZK, and an 216-core iMac even 790 CZK. If you wanted a fully equipped iMac Pro, you would pay exactly 409 CZK for it and you would also have to wait 470 to 6 weeks for it. At first glance, the new iMac Pro is therefore a machine that not everyone can afford. However, of course, Apple did not even try to do that during its development. The question remains whether it will fulfill the huge expectations and convince the world that its price is really adequate.
Pretty hardcore
No,
processor 18 core 2.6 (apple charges only 2.3) GHz – 51k
board 6.7k
128 ram 2666, 32.4k
SSD 4TB (3400read 2100write) * 2, 70k
vega 64/16, 33k
all in all without the monitor it's 193k, but if I compare it with 402 on apple.cz, you can buy a pretty decent monitor, keyboard and mouse for 209k :) although personally I wouldn't buy a vega but a 1080 and instead of an 18core i9 I'd also buy a file 16 a core 3.4GHz threadripper for 26k .. well, it's not that cool, so I'll have to dig in again
well, where do you get the rest like axis etc.????? aha, that post is just about getting the same or greater paper performance on the components, so go dig yourself as you write :)
