Apple today began selling a new sleep monitor from the Beddit brand, which the company bought last year for an as-yet unspecified amount, in its online store. Apple received permission to sell it only last week.

The newest model of the Beddit sleep monitor is numbered 3.5 and in Czech Apple online shop it is available for 4290 crowns, just like its predecessor. Unlike it, Beddit is slightly smaller and lighter, but the thickness remains at two millimeters. The appearance of the accessories has also undergone a change, which is now much closer to Apple's design language. This is Beddit's first upgrade since May 2017.

Beddit is designed so that users can place it between the top of the mattress and the sheet, where it automatically monitors sleep and all relevant data. Among the data that the Beddit sleep monitor collects are sleep time and efficiency, heart rate, breathing, but also movements, snoring, or temperature and humidity in the room. The new version of the sleep monitor works with the Beddit 3.5 application, or with the Health application for iPhone or iPad. Beddit 3.5 is compatible with iPhone 5s and later and iOS 12 and later, as well as all Apple Watch models running OS 4.3 and later.
