Until recently, it was unthinkable for a woman to appear at an Apple keynote. However, the reality is changing and Apple is now giving women and members of minorities more power and more space. He also hopes that other companies will take his example and follow him in the trend of greater diversity and transparency.

In the summer, Apple plans to issue a traditional report on its employment conditions, in which same as last year it will also reveal data on diversity, i.e. the proportion of women or minorities among all Apple employees.

According to Denise Young Smith, head of human resources, Apple is doing very well right now. A full 35% of new recruits coming to Apple are women. African Americans and Hispanics are also on the rise.

If we were to compare the situation with last year, we are now in a more balanced position. Last year, the workforce was 70% male and only 30% female. White men currently have the largest representation in the company, which according to CEO Tim Cook must change significantly.

Apple diversity support and financially, by investing in non-profit organizations that support women, minorities and veterans who are dedicated to technology.
