Today, Apple introduced the brand new iPad Pro, with a USB-C port for the first time in the history of iOS devices. It is no coincidence that today he also started selling two brand new adapters that are compatible with both iPad Pro and Macs that are equipped with a USB-C port. While one expands your computer or tablet with an SD card reader, the other offers the possibility to connect headphones with a 3,5 mm jack connector.

Card reader for USB-C
The first novelty is a USB-C SD card reader, which is intended for Mac or iPad Pro, both the 11" and 12,9" version of iPad Pro 3rd generation. It lets you transfer photos and videos from an SD card at UHS-II speeds and is designed to not block other USB-C ports when used on a Mac. The price for this reader is CZK 1190 including VAT.

Plug your headphones into USB-C
Using the USB-C adapter for 3,5 mm headphone jack, you can connect audio devices with a standard 3,5 mm plug, such as headphones or speakers, to USB-C devices. Interestingly, this adapter only offers compatibility with a pair of new iPad Pros. So if you were thinking about expanding your Macbook and 3,5mm jack connector, then you are out of luck. For the adapter you will pay a very favorable 290 CZK including VAT.

USB-C cable with a length of 1 meter
Until now, Apple only offered a 2-meter USB-C to USB-C cable. Now it also has a meter version on offer for CZK 590. The cable is used both for data synchronization and, of course, also for charging, and is standardly included with new iPad Pros.
