Earlier this week lowered Apple quietly sold the new version of the LG UltraFine 4K monitor in some of its Apple Stores, now it has also appeared on the Apple e-shop, including the Czech Republic. The significantly more expensive LG UltraFine 5K is listed as sold out in some online Apple Stores, however, the Czech version of the Apple website promises – as with the 4K variant – its delivery within the next day.

The diagonal of the LG UltraFine 4K display is 23,7 inches and the resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels. Apple promises that the high-performance monitor delivers stunning 4K resolution at all times. The monitor, which went on sale online this week, replaces the 21,5-inch model that was sold in the past. Compared to it, however, it has a slightly lower resolution – the predecessor of the current LG Ultrafine 4K display boasted a resolution of 4069 x 2304 pixels.

On the other hand, the novelty offers a Thunderbolt 3 port, which was missing from the previous model. The display can be connected to any Mac with a Thunderbolt 3 interface or a Mac or iPad Pro with a USB-C connector. The display also has three USB-C ports.

LG Ultrafine 4K is equipped with built-in stereo speakers, the package includes a Thunderbolt 3 cable for transmitting sound, data and 4K images. The display also boasts a wide P3 color gamut, a brightness of 500 cd/m² and more than 8 million pixels. It offers seamless integration with macOS, so no physical buttons are needed to control volume or display brightness. In addition to the aforementioned Thunderbolt 3 cable, the package also includes a USB-C cable, a power cable and a VESA adapter.

The monitor can be purchased on the Czech Apple website for 19 crowns. In the coming weeks, it should also appear in the offer of other sellers, including Apple Premium Reseller.
