One of the most highlighted features of the new iOS 12 a macOS Mojave there was support for group calls via FaceTime. However, as it seems, the novelty is still far from ready for sharp operation, because s today's Apple removed it from the systems with the beta versions.

iPhone, iPad and Mac owners have been calling for group FaceTime calls for years. They were all the more pleased when Apple presented the function at the opening keynote of this year's WWDC as a novelty of iOS 12 and macOS Mojave. The feature was available in the first beta version of both systems, but with today's seventh beta, Apple removed it for unspecified reasons. He should bring it back in one of the upcoming updates in the fall.

Thanks to group FaceTime calls in iOS 12 and macOS 10.14, it will be possible to make video and audio calls with up to 32 people at once. According to the initial tests, the novelty worked without any problems, but only a few people tried to connect the maximum number of users. After all, the error rate at maximum load is probably the reason why Apple temporarily removed the function from the systems.

However, this is not the first time that Apple has removed originally introduced features from systems. The APFS file system also waited almost a year for its debut in the case of macOS. Similarly, innovations such as Apple Pay Cash, AirPlay 11 and Messages on iCloud disappeared from last year's iOS 2, which returned only a few months later.
